Portia looked at the setting sun, ringed by five of their planet's moons shining a golden scarlet then said,"I had always been so caught up in my troubles, I never thought about just stopping and looking up."
Kofi then said,"I've never thought of looking at the beauty which is right in front of me."
Portia looked at him, as he slowly leaned in, then she did as well, then pulled back and said,"I can't do it, I'm sorry."
"What's wrong?"He asked.
"I still believe Skylar's coming back, and have to wait."
He looked at her, sighed then said,"Then I'll wait as well."
She smiled at him till they heard Griffin whimpering.
They were about to go to it when it burst into huge flames of black and white and every colour.
The feathers and fur on its body spread around and spun in a sphere around its glowing body, then settled back down and Portia saw him... Skylar...

Portia looked at Skylar, his hair was black and white, and so as his six wings, and instead of having one bird tail and one fox tail, he had one bird tail and nine fox tails.
He looked at her and she began tearing up then ran into his arms then spoke of how much she had missed him, then he kissed her forehead and said,"I told you I'd move heaven, earth and hell for you, and meant it."
He cupped her cheek then looked into her eyes then looked down slightly as she asked,"What's this?"
Referring to the gem.
He looked at it, then back at her with a sullen expression, devoid of both emotion and tears, then said,"Portia, when I died...I changed, I am no longer who I used to be..."
"What...what are you talking about?"She asked.
"Portia, I'm a full Seraph and Teraph now."
"So? I love you just the same."
"...but I don't."
"What?"
"As a seraph, I have lost all emotion, and cannot be bound by the chains of love anymore, I'm sorry Portia, but the feelings I used to have for you are gone."
She looked into his cold eyes with tears welling up as he continued,"I now have duties I cannot ignore as the ruler of both the angelic and demonic realms, I'm sorry Portia, but I cannot stay."
"No, please."
He caressed her cheek and kissed her forehead as he said,"You can be with Kofi now, and I promise you, that I will keep you safe from all danger from where I am."
"But I want you to be with me, not Kofi, please, I love you, doesn't that mean anything anymore?"
"I used to love you Portia...but no more."
She burst into fresh tears and hugged him tightly so he wouldn't leave then felt a light kiss on her forehead as he said goodbye, then her hugging arms crossed as he was gone and she screamed and cried on the ground, alone.
Kofi had heard everything, then slowly went to her and called her, but...
"No! This is all your fault! Skylar would still have been here if it wasn't for you! I hate you!"
She looked at his hurt and tender expression, then scoffed and said,"I'm sorry..."
He gently pulled her into his warm embrace then said it was okay, then she felt something nudging her hip then looked at Griffin as it basically begged for attention, then Kofi said,"See, he is still with you."
She smiled as it turned and twisted to get more out of the scratching experience, then it rolled over and kicked...

Portia was asleep when she saw flashes, they were of her and Skylar, together, happy, then he was stabbed in the back, by Kofi...
She screamed and woke up then looked to her side to see Griffin, which never seemed to leave her side, curled in a small ball, asleep.
She smiled and scratched its back as its feathers and fur stood up, its back arched and it purred.
She went to school the next day, but completely avoided Kofi, just because they had literally everyone's blessing to be together didn't mean it was by force, she was going to stay away from him as long as it took for him to get the message.
She had even tried transferring to a different school as Skylar's family had the connections to take her to a school in a country she had never heard of in a snap, but she also didn't want to leave all the memories Skylar and she had for a few bad ones.
Her hands were facing each other, one on top and one below and the air immediately below them lingered above absolute zero as visually, nothing happened, then she stretched her arm and the invisible clump of air molecules was shot at a wall, burning it like a laser.
Kofi, who was right next to it said,"Woah, great shot, you could have burned me."
She then said,"I missed."
She then stood up to leave but he blocked her path then she said he should get out of her way.
"Why are you avoiding me? Is it something I did? Then I'm sorry."
"I don't want to talk about it or get even angrier at you so let me pass."
"So you are angry?"
"Just let me pass!"
"Just let me know!"
She frowned at him then vanished to appear in her next class, hoping for him not to follow...like the last time, but he did.
She still dissed him and even walked right out of the classroom then he also left, but not to follow her, to find someone, someone beautiful, Miss TT.
"She just blames you for all that happened."She said.
"But why?"
"Can you blame her? What did you expect by making moves on her while her boyfriend was dead, after he promised to come back?"
"So could you at least look into the future to tell me if she'd ever forgive me?"
"That is something I want you to find out on your own."
"What?!"
"Yes and also, she doesn't need to forgive you, just to forgive herself and life."
Kofi left, even more confused and angry than when he arrived, he took a deep breath, then walked away.
There was a knock on Portia's door, in which she was watching the extremely rare sight of Griffin, feeding on something classified as edible, from the fourth dimension of course.
She heard the knock and passed through the door and materialised there, not wanting the creature to be bothered.
She met Uncle Cloud at the other side and asked how she could be of assistance.
"Someone wishes to speak with you."
She frowned, knowing exactly who it was then said,"I don't want to see Kofi."
"But he really wants to see you."
"I don't care, I can't talk to him after everything that has happened, I wouldn't."She said...
Portia yelled and struggled as Uncle Cloud had her on his shoulder, then dropped her on the couch, besides Kofi, then said,"I don't want you running anywhere, even to other dimensions otherwise I will come after you and drag you back."
Portia nodded several times as Uncle Cloud went to stand by the door, then she faced Kofi with her previous frown.
He sighed then said,"I come in peace and don't worry, I'm over you."
"What?"
Well you didn't need to say it like that, bend it a little, c'mon, my self esteem still needs to live you know.
"I have realized you don't want to get into another relationship...yet."
"Ever."
"Whatever you say, I just came to say that if you won't, I'm moving on."
Then he just walked out the door, what was that about?
