In the pouring rain, dragon and wyvern were fighting each other. So did the two human's who became their master's.
The second round of fighting began with Crimson taking the first strike using its claws. Not wanting to be outdone, the wyvern that became Jean's contracted creature also counterattacked with a powerful ramming aiming at the dragon's chest.
Trying to stop the wyvern's ramming. Crimson used both its claws to hold the wyvern's wings. However the wyvern it was fighting had gravity-assisted strength due to its position below the wyvern when the wyvern ramming at Crimson.
Jean who got the chance to get closer immediately jumped on my dragon's head. Using his disc's, Jean started attacking me with barrage of attacks. I who was attacked as fast and fierce as that didn't have a chance to counterattack and could only defend.
Learning from his mistake in the first round, Jean didn't give me a chance to catch both of his disc's and sent high voltage electricity to attack him.
Even though I couldn't attack him because I didn't have the chance. It didn't mean I couldn't create a chance to do so.
Shouting, I gave an order to Crimson who was grappling with the wyvern in front of it.
"Crimson, use lightning breath!"
Without hesitation, Crimson opened up its mouth and tilted its head upwards. This is the opportunity I just created to make a counterattack.
When my dragon tilted its head up, the center of gravity changed and disrupted Jean's movement. Taking the opportunity as he fell onto me, I furiously began to launch successive counterattacks with my claws.
Every time my claws hit his body, the electricity also flowed into his body. Jean seemed to be crazy and did not care about his body. Defenseless, Jean also started swinging his disc's at me. Although there was several times his disc's and my claws clashed, but there was a moment when the disc's managed to hit my body and gave a slash wound in several parts of my body.
"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!"
I also realized this was his determination. His determination to fight to the death regardless of defense and only focus on giving deadly attacks.
When I feel how strong his determination, that makes my spirit burn. Clenching my fist, I also relaxed my guard and further strengthening my attack.
Disc's and claws clashed. Sparks continue to blaze as time goes by.
When my dragon breathed out its lightning breath, the wyvern tried to dodge but failed because the distance between them was too close.
As a result, part of the wyvern's body was burned to the point where it lost one of its wings. It happened at the same time as my claws collided with Jean's disc's for the umpteenth time.
The disc in one of Jean's hands was shattered and my claws swiftly hit some part of his face.
The sharp claws hit his left face and Jean lost one of his eyes because my attack. His left eye was tightly shut while bleeding. I'm not going to stop just because Jean lost half of his sight. I attack him with a powerful finishing kick and make Jean fall from the sky for a second time. But this time he fell along with the wyvern he contracted.
"In the end, I lose for a second time."
Although Jean said that words with low voice, but I can hear it with my enhanced sense's
From the sky along with Crimson, we saw Jean and the wyvern he contracted fall into the grassland below.
Once again I saw the wyvern's concern for Jean. Using its body, the wyvern protected Jean from dying when their bodies hit the ground.
The fierce battle between two of us made me forget about the bandit that had been hiding in Crimson's wings.
If the bandit didn't reveal his form again with a frightened look on his face, I probably wouldn't remember him anymore.
When my feet hit the ground, I could see the wyvern's lifeless body. In the belly of the wyvern, Jean seemed to be lying unconscious. Protecting its master from death, Crimson looked at the wyvern's corpse with a look of respect.
I asked Crimson to bring Jean to the village so the villagers could treat him. I wasn't that cruel to kill Jean after seeing the sacrifice of the creature he contracted. At least Jean would be punished according to the laws of the Vermillia Kingdom.
Crimson agreed to my request. For Crimson, my wish comes first. But before that, Crimson asked me to wait for a while. Out of respect for the wyvern, Crimson quickly devoured the wyvern's entire body in less than 5 minutes.
I, who saw it could only remain silent with my mouth open while the bandit next to me was already unconscious because he could not bear the surprises that kept appearing today.
When I came back, the whole village immediately greeted me. After hearing my story about the truth behind the robbery that happened for the last 2 months and the absence of any summoners on patrol for the past 3 months, all of them looking at me with eyes full of gratituted and looking at Jean with eyes full of malice.
I understand that they won't be able to forgive Jean's actions. But I asked the village doctor to give him treatment so he would not die. Of course I told them that Jean would get the punishment he deserved for what he did. I intend to hand him over to the knights when I go to a nearby town. Same like the bandit behind me.
Before taking a rest I made sure to put both of them in the village jail, guarded closely by the village chief's confidants. Because I was tired, I apologized to the chief for not being able to attend the banquet they had made especially for me.
Unbeknownst to me. In the royal capital of Vermillia Kingdom. An important meeting was take a place which discussed about the abnormal phenomenon that had occurred due to my fight with Jean.
