Chapter 15 - Nirvana Cane Technique

The figure in the snow kept the same pace of punches in the beginning and on top of its head characters kept flashing and they eventually stopped and took the form of unique symbols.

The symbols seemed to contain black and white and when they eventually stopped they were converted into a symbol resembling Yin and Yang. From the distance, Musk could see this and at the same time, he seemed to have realized that he had to approach it for the symbol to fuse with him as a way of accepting the martial art.

But in the end, he did not make a rush decision, he just put it under the list of martial arts he wanted to be considered in the end. At the same time, he looked at the virtual world he was in that was collapsing without a change in expression as he did not feel any danger.

He then selected the next martial arts to view and it belonged to the same category, and this time the martial arts got his attention as it produced a tiger roar every time the person punched ahead.

If you look closely you could see that in the place ahead, a woman had manifested, and other than the face that seemed difficult to see, a huge tiger would manifest every time she punched. Behind her, the tiger seemed to become visible from just making a sound, and in the fourth level, it actually manifested in form behind her.

But in the end, the technique did not match his aesthetics, and he passed by it as he had a multitude of choices. In the past perhaps he would make do with it, but this technique did not seem that useful at all unless one was interested in soundwave attacks.

For the best part, he had already made up his mind on the issue, and Musk would then locate the techniques he deemed the best three in three areas namely, movement, boxing, and weapon.

Liu Musk spend a lot of time passing through martial arts before he came into contact with something that interested him more. It was a stick technique and the first technique he decided to practice was right off the bat.

Unlike the other martial arts, this stick technique seemed rather reserved in its means and when one attacked it did not seem to generate any intense power or rather it was very much normal but when it landed o the target then the damage it caused was something even he had to think twice about.

The name was Nivarna Cane, and the more he looked at the figure used it the more impressed he saw everything he wanted in a technique. Basic, ruthless, and instant lethality to the opponent. It did not have a loud name such as the Heavenly Cane Strikes he had learned in the past.

In the simulation, he saw, this technique suited his taste and he could gain some insights from it even the stick technique he learned in the past could benefit from it.

Adding some knowledge he had accumulated over the years and this new one would not be bad, and as such, he went close to the green cane floating with some runes on its surface.

Upon contact, the rune fused with him and the cane disintegrated. In the same way, the more in-depth analysis of the technique seemed to have started.

The moment he got out of the virtual state, his mind was exhausted and he had to leave the stone stele space. He also had to practice the skills based on the methods indicated on the virtual inheritances. He had some ideas about how to improve will to the point that it could allow martial arts one practiced to manifest some kind of avatar.

For sword cultivators, this is usually viewed as sword intent and all that but it is just the use of willpower, and from the things he deduced himself, at this point willpower probably has just started to be forged.

He would find it easier to accomplish since he has lived longer. Most of those that are able to cultivate from being mortals, take less than fifty years to achieve this step of will-driving martial arts and are referred to as geniuses at that point.

Liu Musk on the other hand has taken more than ten thousand years to gain the chance for entering the fourth level, it can be said that he has been long overdue.

In the same way, it can be seen that those in the same age group as him would have reached very high levels in realms. It would also be impossible to catch them or even surpass them without opportunities.

Musk can at most be proud of his longer lifespan than could give him opportunities but those that cultivate faster, would not care about some lifespan since theirs is far off from being an issue. In the time they reach the same age as him, some would have longer lifespans, reaching even millions.

But from the martial arts on the stone steles, he could already tell something about the kind of place he is. At the same time, he could actually tell that his situation was not the most ideal. He had no knowledge of where he was but he was sure that the strength of most creatures in this place would be enough to crush him.

On that point he was spot on as the moment he had arrived in this world, he nearly died at the hands of the huge water creature and their fight for the frozen continent saved him at the same time risked his life even more.

Standing there with such a realization is itself a good thing, he looked around for the perfect place to practice and head to retreat and the good thing was that he did not hear the sounds from the time he was trying to enter the stone stele space.

Throwing aside his mismatched thoughts, he moved around to locate some cane that could be helpful to his practice until he saw some bamboo growing at the edge of some cliff. His goal then was just to collect any that would be of use but he did not realize this was an almost impossible task.
