Sylva led me into the forest, the light of the fires behind us getting dimmer and dimmer. The warmth of her hand was enough, as we went further into the trees.
The sound of running water became louder and louder.
„We're almost there!" she said. I waited in anticipation.
We moved through the forest, not for long however until we reached an open area with a small pond and running water. That was not the only thing I saw. There was a bed made out of straws in front of the water with what seemed to be wine or other drinks to the side of it. Blankets were put on top of it making it seem very cozy and nice.
„This… this looks nice Sylva." I said, a bit entranced.
„Yup and it's just for us two and especially you!"
„I don't get it, for what do I deserve this?"
„… don't tell me you forgot what tomorrow is?"
„Thursday?"
She sighed, loudly, „No you idiot, it's your names day! And I remember you saying that you wanted to sleep under the stars for it!"
I was… confused at the very least, was it really already the 15th of the Artists?
„Is it tomorrow? Like, for real?"
„YES."
„And you prepared this for me?"
„YES."
She remembered it, even if I didn't, and then she remembered that I always wanted to this. I don't deserve this woman, I don-, tears started rolling down my face. I honestly don't know why they did but they for sure did.
„W-why are you crying? I didn't mean it when I called you an idiot!" she sounded concerned.
„It's not that Sylva, I just, I just don't deserve you, I don't deserve this! I just love you so much and you thought of this for me. I do-." She cut me off by kissing me. „I love you Faelyn, now let's get comfy alright?" she pulled me into a hug and then towards the bed under the moonlight. The fires of the camp slowly started to go out one by one, as Sylva started to undress. Her now bare back could not hide the muscles she had acquired through years of training. Even when not flexing or wanting to show it off it was a sight to behold. She turned around, seeing me staring at her back and hair. A small, smile came over her lips as she looked at me. The scar that went from her shoulder up to her face, the strong shoulders and toned stomach, and one of her arms covering her chest and oh gods her face. This sly little smile on her face made me almost melt me into the ground. Her what she would call imperfections only proving how perfect she really was. She looked like a goddess to me, everything about her was perfect, something the gods could only hope to recreate. I loved this woman with all my heart.
„So you gonna let me be the alone one with only underwear one?" she said, still with that damn smile on her face. What could only be described as throwing my shirt and pants away from my body, I joined her on the straw-bed.
„Now there you are." she said and kissed me, she held my face with one of her hands, her eyes meeting mine.
„You are so pretty." I said while becoming lost in her emerald eyes. „Now look who's talking." she kissed me, more passionately then before and I returned the favor. I got lost in her eyes and to her body as it became more passionate. Only the moon and the stars witnessed what could only be described as two melting into one, melting into pure passion and love. They could only look towards us with jealousy for what we had was more than that. For what we had was nothing even the gods could ever achieve. We became lost to our lust and love for one another, I felt her and she felt me as we fused into something greater. I felt her warmth entering me, warming me, making me beg for more as it did. I melted into her arms as she melted into mine. I could care less for the sky above us, for all I wanted to look at and feel was her, was us. With their jealous eyes they could only watch as pleasure, passion and love mixed, they could only witness as we became one.
———
Breathless we lay on top of the hay, luckily we had a blanket over it so it didn't go everywhere. We both lay on our backs, snuggled next to each other.
Together we watched the sky. Endless stars and a half-full moon shining on this spot free of trees in a middle thick forest. I didn't say nothing, I didn't need to say anything since all my feelings were already out there this night. So we lay there, our breathes slowly calming. We stayed like that for a while, gazing upon the stars. Until I looked at her and I knew, that the endless amount of stars in all of the cosmos and it infinite beauty paled in comparison to Sylva and until I fell asleep, I only had eyes for her.

„Faelyn, Faelyn wake up! We gotta get ready! The caravan is leaving soon!"
„What? Oh, OH, okay!" I jumped up, „let's freshen up in the water real quick!
We quickly went into the water, getting rid of the sweat of the night. I quickly ‚summoned' the fire hummingbirds to dry us up. Before we left for the camp, there was something I had to.
„Sylva?"
„Yeah?"
„Thank you, thank you for this."
„Of course, I love you."
„I love you too."
We quickly grabbed the rest of our stuff and while I wasn't religious, I said a quick prayer to the 12 divine as thanks for another year. I have neither chosen a personal deity yet nor have I lost much thought about it, maybe I will just adopt my mothers faith. So that should be the 7th, the Forgotten God, perhaps I should read up on him when I return home, let's hope I don't „forget"… haha.
„Faelyn, you comin?" Sylva already started walking back.
„Yep, sorry just thought about something." I moved up to her and we made it back to camp, which already was almost ready to go. Several other caravan members and Sylvas Grandparents congratulated me for my Names Day.
Before I knew it we already were on the way, almost back home.
