We arrived at the Star Empire many days later. Flying through the air was thrilling, I couldn't wait until I could fly.The liberating feeling of soaring through the sky's through one's own power.
I wanted to experience it.
We jumped off the eagle's back and started walking north. Throughout this journey Wu Shaung acted like a shy little girl, it was a weird experience.
Coming infront of a huge palace, we walked in and I felt an aura.
A very terrifying aura.
One that gave fear to all others! I knew the moment I felt it, this was not a mortal's aura.
This aura came from an unfathomably strong being, it came from a being who could destroy the world if they wished.
The aura could only be that of an Emperor-Realm Existence.
A handsome middle aged man sat on a throne with an indomitable presence. Wearing a black robe that covered his body, yet still let his robust figure be seen. With golden hair and dark blue eyes he gave out the aura of someone who had left the mortal plane. Someone who had ascended the heavens and reached immortality!
This was an Emperor.
The man laughed out loud "Ah, how lucky I am. Those old foggies are going to be furious,
Fumetsu is it? I'm the Star Emperor. However, You can call me Master Shuang."
The old man next to the shy Wu Shuang looked stunned
"Is this grandfather? The same man who destroyed the demon base headquarters and was renowned as a ruthless man? Why is he giving such privilege to this boy?"
I was confused and shocked at how carefree this reality breaking being was. It was slightly scary.
However that doubt instantly disappeared.
The man gave me a death stare that made me feel like I was holding up a mountain, however with my strength a few mountains were nothing.
"Do you know why you are here?"
"No, Master Shuang. I was told you'd hold my marriage ceremony?"
That's what I believed. After all, what would a god like existence want from me? But than again, did an emperor have so much free time?
The called Star Emperor suddenly stood up and disappeared, appearing right infront of me.
"This marriage won't be happening, my grandson has misjudged you."
The elders eyes flashed as he spoke
"But grandfather, this boy has seen little Wu already. The rules state that he must marry her or else..."
Before the elder could finish his sentence Master Shaung's eyes locked on him and he submissively stopped talking.
"The rules were made by me, If I wish I will break them. With Fumetsu's potential he shouldn't be held back by someone with inferior talent."
During this conversation Wu Shuang was in a daze. "What's going on? I, the most talented Prodigy of the human race have inferior talent?"
Just because he reached the Realm of Dao and recieved unlimited potential, it was just that, potential. It didn't mean he could reach the peak no matter what.
Countless people praised her including even her great-grandfather who was an Emperor! Yet with the appearance of this being her great-grandfather believed her to be a burden to this person?
She spoke up in anger "But, grandpa how could I slow him down? when even you say I'm the most talented of the human race?"
Star Emperor sighed
"You may be the most talented person that humans have ever seen but it ends there. The Universe is vast. There are countless geniuses like you and others that are even more talented."
He continued
"But he...is rare. So rare that only one being in existence can compete with him."
