In Star university.
The lecture hall that Max and Hayley were in before they got transported. Currently, it is already night and no one is in the hall.
Suddenly bright red flash illuminated the hall. It was like a small sun in the hall if anyone was passing from outside the hall. They would have noticed the commission coming from the windows of the hall, but thankfully, no one was roaming around near the hall.
After a few more seconds, the bright red light grow dim gradually until the hall returned to darkness.
"Did we finally come back?" a female voice sounded from the hall.
"I guess so. It looks like we returned to the place we have been teleported from."
These two are Max and Hayley after they teleported from Hell. During the teleportation they didn't see anything, it was all void around them.
They didn't even have time to look around them before they arrived here.
I looked around me making sure that I finally returned from Hell.
I took a deep breath. Smelling the fresh air from the atmosphere and feeling the Mana in the air. I couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.
Beside me, Hayley was doing the same thing.
We both just stood in our places taking in the Mana from the atmosphere into our bodies and fresh air. Staying in Hell for this long made us forget the atmosphere on Earth.
So, it took us a while to adapt and rest as finally, no more danger would pop out of nowhere.
After resting for a while, I turned my head to Hayley to bid her farewell as I can't wait to go home and rest.
Also probably, my mother would be worried sick so I need to talk to her urgently.
"Let's separate here," I said after collecting my thoughts.
Hearing me speak brought Hayley from her daze.
"Yeah, sure" replied Hayley absent-mindedly.
Hearing this, I just waved goodbye and walked in the direction of the door.
Seeing Max leave without leaving anyway to keep in line with each other made her a little sullen. Even Hayley didn't notice this small change in her emotions as she is currently not paying attention.
While waking in the direction of the door. I felt an intense gaze on my back. The gaze felt way too intense for me to bear so I turned around to look at Hayley who is giving me an intense gaze.
"What?" I just asked questioningly.
Hayley finally noticed that she had been staring at Max all this while, so she become embarrassed a little at her behavior but she still didn't show it on her face.
"Goodbye, take care," said Hayley while waving her hands as if nothing happened.
I was going to continue on my way and ignore her, but I noticed that her gaze started to turn intense again. Although I don't have much contact with the opposite sex since I was basically a trash and not many people wanted to make connections with me.
I still have some comment sense to understand what she wanted. I would have ignored her and left. After we returned from Hell, even if we became somewhat friends, it isn't important to me as I am used to being alone.
After thinking for a while. I just called out to her.
"Right, do you have a way so we can communicate?" I asked after I thought for a while. I have a feeling that I would meet Hayley again but I don't know when. So it is better to have a way to contact each other.
Anyway, she was me during the entire trip to Hell. So, she has learned a lot of things about me. Including me getting all of those weapons and artifacts and the such. It is better to be slightly guarded and not entirely let my guard down.
As for whether she would become a close friend in the future or not.
Who knows? That is all for the future.
I can think all I want, but fate would still have the last laugh anyway. So it is better to go with the flow for now.
Hearing Max ask about a way to communicate with her, made Hayley's light up slightly.
She just nodded her head like a peaking chicken and threw a talisman from her space ring.
She used to put her things in a space bag that her father gave her but after getting the space ring. She transferred everything there.
Naturally, she has some communication talisman that could be used to communicate with other people. Of course, here on Earth, there are phones and the internet and the such but Hayley is still new to those things and hadn't had the time to take a look at them.
So she gave him a communication talisman that is used by most people in the Universe.
The talisman is made of a combination of runes, magic, and some special paper.
The are of course different levels of talismans and different types. They can be used for a lot of things like attack, defense, buffs, communication, and many more.
Of course, the level of the talisman would depend on the runes inscribed on the paper and the materials used for the talisman.
The other requirements to make talismans are the level of the magician making the talisman, and the more advanced a talisman is the more energy required to make them, and an understanding of the laws of magic and the Universe would be needed to be at high enough level to make what is asked for.
Still, even with all of this. It will all depend on the runes. Runes in the Universe are the foundation of many things, but not many people can study runes as it requires high talent and a good aptitude to be able to work with them.
Anyway ignoring the rules and laws of the universe for now, we return back to Max and Hayley.
Seeing the communication talisman, I just took it in my hands before giving it a curious look and then stored it in my ring.
It is my first time seeing a communication talisman but I didn't put much thoughts about them for now.
If I stored it in the system storage, it probably won't work. So it is better to keep it in the ring. I think I should also add a few random things in the ring.
Shanking my head to dispel those distracting thoughts. I just waved my hand at Hayley and then headed outside the University, but this time I used my Mana to strengthen my legs and increase my speed.
Seeing Max's back disappear from in front of her. Hayley was just about to sigh in relief but suddenly someone placed a hand on her right shoulder.
Feeling someone's hand on her shoulder scared Hayley silly because she didn't notice anything. She was going to take a high-level talisman from her ring to attack whoever sneaked behind her but the other person talked quickly to calm her down.
"Calm down little Hayley," said a familiar feminine voice that is coming from her back.
Hearing this familiar voice helped calm Hayley's tense nerves that have been relaxed since her return from Hell.
She turned her head and confirmed once again that the person who appeared is someone she knows, which helped her take a sigh of relief.
