That next evening, the school day went by fast and just like Brandyn, Saru continued his way home like usual. He took a bus then, finishing his journey home, he'd walk the rest of the way. He lived in the east end of Salham, nearing the adjacent borough.
The streets were bustling with people and the warm orange sunlight beamed across the city, reflecting off the towers and buildings that surrounded him. Every now and again, he'd see someone charging across the road and streets with incredible pace, going above even 50 miles per hour.
During this path, he liked to take a calm shortcut that took him off the loud, busy roads. He walked through a small park situated in Salham and there were still a few people inside. Some people were walking through it just like him, while others were sat and resting there.
