Upon waking up, Brandyn felt in his arms that it was easier to lift his body up to get out of bed. At first, he thought it was because he didn't feel that tired but then, as he became more awake, he remembered the new species that he was now. He was an archdemon.
While thinking this, he rushed up from bed and charged towards his bathroom to stare at himself in the mirror. What he noticed was that it seemed that he had gained 10 - 15lbs of muscle overnight. (4.5kg - 6.8kg) Hopping onto his scale, he confirmed that his theory was correct and he had in fact gained 20lbs (9kg) of weight, which included some body fat. He now weighed 130lbs (59kg) , from his previous 110lbs (50kg) and had some muscular definition in his new physique.
"Woah. I ended up like this overnight?! I mean, it said I'd get purple skin but I look exactly the same. Well, it did also say I'd retain some human traits after all." He thought to himself, seeing basically no change in his appearance.
He still had the same long hair, with a single black braid down to the left of his left eye.
So, Brandyn continued his day by heading to school and he was barely able to focus in his classes as he was wondering about the power of his new abilities. No one noticed his increase in muscle size, particularly with his jawline, since no one exactly paid attention to him. He was an ant. A bug that had no influence or power so even the teachers paid little attention to his work or grades, even though they were great. It actually served as an extra excuse for the teachers to neglect him, since he was simply naturally talented.
Well, they didn't exactly need a reason anyway since there were no people like his parents asking if they treated him well.
*Ring*
Brandyn was liberated by the relieving, beautiful ring of the bell. The students simultaneously lifted from their seats and began to exit the large lecture-like room. The rustling of people's bags and the tapping of shoe soles filled the room and then, the loud chattering of students was heard as the door was opened.
"I wonder when I get any of those powers. I still feel exactly the same in terms of overall strength." Brandyn asked himself, looking at the statistics ahead of him.

Brandyn accidentally bumped into someone then got pushed out of the way, almost. He wasn't exactly smaller than this guy but he was a regular-born, drastically decreasing his level of strength.
The student was around 5'8 and 130lbs, similar size to Brandyn. He had moderately long brown hair that came down to his ears and it was kept nicely kept and sleek. His clothing was the casual clothing of his family, with his family emblem engraved into his left chest. His eyes were a flowing mix of brown and green.
"I need 30 marks from you! Pay up now, don't piss me off!!" The teenager ordered, clenching his fists in annoyance.
Brandyn, this time, wasn't willing to immediately submit. Maybe, just maybe, he had been given something. Regardless of that, he didn't want to continue bending to others' will. The teen stood staring at this other student for a few seconds until an icon popped up in the corner of his vision.

"Skill! This is a valuable fight! Let's see how much stronger I've gotten." Brandyn thought to himself, inhaling calmly to try and lower his increasing heart beat.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
Gritting his teeth, he forced his body into the fight and threw a picture-perfect jab.
*BAM*
The adrenaline rushing through his body seemed to have made his punches more powerful, actually fracturing the nose of the student. Seeing that he simply hadn't lifted his arms, he listened to the man on the video and lifted his right arm to land a second punch, an uppercut. This punch looked a little less impressive but it certainly was more powerful and it actually dropped the student to one knee.
"Did Saru just lose to Brandyn?!" A student blurted out, causing a few other students to accumulate to try and see what was actually going on.
Brandyn's eyes flashed a warm purple as he smirked, seeing that he could actually win the fight! However, the quest hadn't given any expected notification of being complete. So, he deduced the fight wasn't over so he made a high guard boxing stance, awaiting the continuation of the battle.
"How dare you attack me like that, regular-born trash! I'll make sure to show you what you're getting into!" Saru shouted, unaware of his previously glowing eyes.
Only a few students noticed these eyes since no one was paying attention to Brandyn but instead to Saru.
Claws grew out of Saru's nails and he also grew razor sharp fangs. He let out a cold snarl as he opened his mouth, showing off his deadly weapons. Finally, his brown hair grew over his pale cheeks and a monkey-like tail grew from his lower back area, waggling violently.
"You're dead!" Saru shouted, with fury.
Brandyn, however, wasn't fearful. He felt this sense of accomplishment and genuinely believed that he could win. All he did was advance towards Saru, fearlessly.
He kept his technique steady and looked like an amateur boxer as he used the techniques that he learned. Feinting, weaving etc.
Saru simply swungout his left arm to try and take out the regular-born but he weaved right under the attack swiftly. Next, he swung out a jab to the stomach and then came upwards with a right straight to the head. This punch was swift and looked like a skilled lightweight boxer's punch from the speed and power.
Saru fell back from these 2 punches alone but the fear of humiliation by a supposed regular-born was too high a cost to pay.
He continued to throw wild, swift slashes that Brandyn was able to handle all the same. The attacks were faster than anything a regular-born could throw but he still couldn't connect with any of them.
Saru then swung out for his classic, basic left slash but this time, he swung out way too far. His entire left body was left open so Brandyn slipped to the right of this slash. Seeing his chin completely open, he jerked his body in that direction and landed the right punch to the jaw, which is so powerful that he was knocked out for a second, causing him to simply drop.
