As he stood there, he used his free hand to reveal another of the silver explosives and Flavian noticed what it was almost immediately. This led him to fall back, in an attempt to keep himself distant from the explosive.
Brandyn also saw this with his enhanced eyesight then ran at the hooded man. His speed reached a little under 40 miles per hour and once he was a few steps away from the man, he jumped ahead while pulling forward his knee to aim it right ahead.
*BAM*
His knee crashed into his chest and caused the man to slide back about 3 feet. He used his gauntlet to slow himself down by digging it into the ground then once Brandyn landed, he chucked out the explosive.
*click*
Out of pure instinct, Brandyn shot out his dagger and managed to land it on the ball so that it hurled right back in the opposite direction. With his gauntlet wedged in the ground, there was no escape for the hooded man.
