As Clark came hurling down from the sky due to his significant injury, Elias prepared for his descent. While he descended, Elias launched a barrage of fireballs, using the most and last of his stamina reserves.
Each flame connected and once the next flame landed on Clark, they each combined and amplified into a more explosive and deadly flame.
By the time Clark landed on the ground, the ashes of his shirt slowly flew off his scorched undershirt and there were several holes in the clothing. Due to the high temperatures and destructiveness, blood was already coming out of his nose and mouth. His breath had intensified a significant amount and now, he was starting to feel lightheaded and weak.
*ZOOM*
Before Clark knew it, Elias was right beside him and a dark fist had already reached within 10 centimetres of his face.
*POW*
*SNAP*
Elias landed his straight right attack and his nose painfully snapped to the size. Then, Elias swung clockwise and knocked out the superhuman being with this single strike.
*thud*
Clark landed, face first, on the ground and didn't seem to move at all.
"GRAAAAARGHH!! LET'S GOO!!" Elias exclaimed, releasing waves of flames from his fist as he roared.
"And there we have it, folks! The Exam has come to an end and Elias had been handed the highest score out of every contestant with a rating of a near-perfect 99.4, the highest rating that this school has seen in 15 years! Thanks everyone for coming, and please make your way back to the G-11 so that we can return to school."
All of the students, after the heated and exciting day, were all tired and ready to leave.
It took another 2 hours trip and the students were fare more laidback and relaxed as they all felt somewhat tired from the physical exertion that had occurred during the exams. Also, Elias was getting continuously praised by almost every student. Everyone went head over heels to try and praise him and each compliment further helped to build and amplify his ego.
As they were on the comfortable flight, they were all informed of their rating and class. As Brandyn laid in the dining room, which was filled with the quiet buzzing of the kitchen cooking equipment.
Brandyn's wristwatch made a slight vibration and he looked down, with curiosity as to maybe find out the origin of this ringing watch.
'Brandyn Santiago
Rating: 39.9
Class: F-1'
"F-1?! I made it to the second round then made it past the round 64's! This has to be some sort of joke." Brandyn thought to himself, more than annoyed with his unfair rating.
*1 hour later*
"The plane will land in approximately 6 minutes. Make sure you are strapped in tight for the landing."
Everyone was clustered together in the seatbelt quarters and the sound of chatter and far more calm individuals echoed throughout the metallic area. In the cockpit, the teachers and several medical staff were also strapped to the walls as the skilled pilots touched several buttons with piercing eyes. Their arms moved swiftly and with clear intent, until the school's runway was less than a mile away.
*THUD*
The aircraft crashed down onto the runway and steadily began to slow down until it was only travelling at around 60 miles per hour. Once this aircraft had reached such a speed, the symbol advising the students to stay strapped down and seated was removed.
"Phew. Finally done." Clark said, jumping down and off his seat without even looking at the ladder next to him.
His drop was fast but it came to an abrupt stop before he flew right out of the room and out of the aircraft entirely.
"Alright. F-1? Oh well, it's not like I was going to get any promising prospects anyway. I might later on in life but for now, I don't think I had enough time to advance my abilities." Brandyn muttered, blabbering on as he left the aircraft.
What Brandyn realised from this exam was that he had to continue training on. The only thing that he had against people like Elias was work ethic. He had been blessed with the shattering of his limits but he had not been gifted with a mere amplification of power. The work would still have to be done and if he wanted to win.
If he wanted revenge, breaks weren't an option.
The following school day was a day specifically centred around the introduction to the students to their new sets. An email was sent out by the school's admin team, explicitly telling the students where they are to be in the following weeks for their new lessons.
These lessons were no longer concentrated on the education of the students but, instead, were focused on physical activity, and combat.
Entering the large school facilities, the beautiful morning sunlight beamed through the cleaned windows. The school was covered in fascinating nature and it formed this serene, edenic atmosphere around the grounds that surrounded these modern, enchanting structures. The chatter of the students in the halls was the dominant sound in every hall. Every student hastened to their first lecture or lesson as the day began.
Brandyn followed the large halls to find himself in his new classroom. On the auburn door, there was a golden sign, with the text 'F-1' embedded into it.
"Here we go."
