Vikar eventually stopped mindlessly striking his axe on the unbreakable energy shield and started to analyse the situation.
'Each time I strike his shield, it lights up but what I noticed was that it lit up more in areas near his back. His energy shield might be weaker in some areas. If I can land a concentrated beam strike on his back area, I might be able to break through his defences!' Vikar realised.
Vikar, this time, pretended to continue in his mindless swings but Tyr bought it right away. However, as he aimed to throw a strike, he swiftly stepped to the side and circled around Tyr so that he was positioned behind his target.
"May the power of lightning grant me utter strength!" Vikar called out internally.
Subsequently, lightning concentrated into his hammer in volumes that he hadn't used before. It wasn't a level of current that he wasn't used to, and he already felt strain in his arm.
