Once Brandyn rested in the cafeteria, after receiving a brand-new pair of PE clothing from the school, everyone was lost for words. Many students gazed at him from afar and some of the girls gave him more lustful glances, with slight infatuation.
There was mystery around him, since he just became so strong so quickly, but he didn't possess the general traits of a late bloomer.
His power gradually increased over a long duration of time, which wasn't a feature for late bloomers. Even though late bloomers were an incredibly rare phenomenon, the strength they received wasn't so gradual and limitless as Brandyn's.
As he just drank in the cafeteria, Amethyst felt a little threatened by the other girls, clearly interested in him. Many of them came from far more prestigious families and were just as attractive as she was but she was pleased to know that Brandyn didn't care much for status.
