Brandyn entered the entrance room and there were several people conversing in the room, having a great time. What caught his eye was someone walking out of the kitchen with a steaming meal of spaghetti and bolognese.

"Woah. I could maybe get my protein goal on this place if they have the right stuff!" Brandyn thought, walking into the kitchen to be taken aback by what he saw.

There was a counter with chefs and a small kitchen, but there were also several trays of different foods.

One tray had scrambled eggs, another was an entire tray of minced beef that was already half finished, there was also some chicken mixed with spices and herbs. There was a tray of bread and also trays of rice and spaghetti, with some other enticing foods. The savoury delight all mixed and excited his nose, making him anticipate the upcoming meal.

To get the highest amount of protein in the lowest amount of calories, Brandyn decided to go for beef mixed in with rice and pasta, sided with 3 pieces of chicken. The meal had more than 150 grams of protein, which was just what he needed to make his goal.

After 10 minutes of eating his food in the entrance room, which had a few red sofas and tables in the centre of it, his wristwatch pinged.

"Student: Brandyn Santiago's team has been selected. Your 2 teammates are: Botan Valin, Aria Tungston."

Brandyn noted this announcement but wasn't exactly bothered by it. He just believed that he'd just meet them at some point, continuing to eat his large meal. Lifting up a chicken drumstick to chow down on it, another student sat down beside him.

He was around 5'10 and has short, ginger hair. He was quite large, not just fat but also muscular, giving him a heavy, burly look. He weighed 94kg and this could clearly be seen in his tight, stretching shirt.

"I'm Botan." the student said with a bubbly tone, throwing out his palm for a handshake.

"Hi." Brandyn replied monotonously, shaking his hand slowly before getting back to eating his meal.

Botan was a little startled by the extremely dry reply but he decided to just move past it to try and continue the conversation.

"What's your ability? I heard you beat Saru recently and there's no way you did that without an ability." Botan asked curiously, slouching over in his seat.

"…"

Brandyn didn't even turn or reply to the comment and continued to eat, even making his body posture more tight and tense as Botan was there.

"Well, alright. You'll have to talk to me at some point, you know." Botan said, lifting off the sofa to head towards the dormitory room.

Brandyn didn't think much of his actions and just continued to eat his meal, not even looking behind him to see what his teammate was up to.

"I'm with this weakling?" Aria thought as she laid on one of the pillars of the entrance room.

An hour swiftly passed and Brandyn just sat in the dormitory room, scrolling through his system stats.

"So my strength can increase without XP boosts? that's probably a given but I just assumed the stats wouldn't be affected. That's good." Brandyn said, swiping the icon onto his skills page.

The weaker students ate and sat alone, in the corners of the room while the stronger students had several others trying their best to get their attention. Elias had more than 10 students, boys and girls, circled around him trying to talk to him. The dangerously large ego he already had was getting even more inflated during this journey. However, overall, everyone was having a good time.

"15 minutes until destination arrival. Please follow the invigilators to the jetpack quarters." A pilot announced, slowing down the aircraft's speed to around 300 miles per hour.

The biome surrounding the plane was a wasteland, there was an accumulation of dust in the air and the temperature was around 30 degrees celsius. However, there was a grassland and forest in the distance, around 80 miles away.

Again, this was a metallic and ringed quarter, above the seatbelt quarters. Instead, there were jetpacks on the wall that was closer to the centre of the plane, not closer to the outside. These jetpacks were smooth and shiny in design, also being compact and heavy. Each one weighed around 30 kilograms, which would've been a problem for Brandyn before but now, it wasn't going to affect him.

"10 minutes until the plane reaches the destination. Everyone get strapped into your jetpack by pulling that strap over your chest into the little opening on the other side of the jetpack." The suited up teacher instructed, as the edge wall of the quarters opened wide.

"PLEASE GET AWAY FROM THE EDGE OF THE PLANE!" The system of the plane commanded, highlighting a red line across the quarter to tell the students where they should be standing.

Brandyn did what was told and entered a jetpack. What was weird wad that the jetpack and wristwatch both made some weird pinging noise simultaneously. Then, his jetpack started emitting a bit of smoke but he wasn't exactly lifted off his feet or from looking out the plane and he was more ready than ever to do well.

"In 100 seconds, the jetpacks will drive every student out and into the battlefield below. The jetpack will ensure a safe landing and they have been tested for more than a decade. After you land, your timer for the game begins and the jetpack will become redundant. After you land, more instructions will be given from the speaker in the jetpack. Enjoy your first test!" A voice from the cabin.

"Here we go!" Brandyn said to himself, feeling the jetpack activate.

BRRRSHH!!!

A hot energy expelled from the two exhausts at the bottom of the jetpack and in a second, he was off the plane and into the air. He glanced behind him to the shrinking ship and the accumulation of students scattered in the sky. The view was magnificent, also seeing the mountains and hills in the far distance.

VUUUMM!!

His jetpack soared straight in a certain direction, making him travel at more than 150 miles per hour.

Looking at the colossal view around him, he felt a sense of euphoria as he had never experienced anything like it.

"WOOOHOOO!!"
