I had been in the hospital for quite a while studying anxiously in the waiting room
"Where is she?" I heard Carl asked as he came over to me
"She's in the room. The doctor should be finished any moment" I reassured him before noticing the trio behind him
"You guys must be Carl's friends"
"Hi, my name's James Taylor" the brown haired one said said
"Sup I'm Carlos and this is Amara"
"Greetings" Amara said
"Hello I'm James McKnight, I'm a close friend of Carl's mom" I said
"No you are not" Carl scoffed before glaring at me. I sighed then suddenly the door opened and Marvin came out removing gloves from his hands
"How is she?" I asked rushing over to him
"It's a miracle. She surprisingly didn't get hurt that much. Other than her head hitting the wheel and a few broken bones, she's fine" he said
"Oh thank god" I let out a sigh of relief
"And who are you?" Carl asked
"Oh I'm Doctor Marvin Shade."
