"Oh Carl. I'm just cleaning my mess but you shouldn't be in here. Go outside and enjoy the party" she said flashing me a fake smile
"That's enough Mom. Let's go home, I don't want to be here any longer"
"I can't just leave James here by himself"
"What's the big deal? Why do you care about that guy? He hasn't even said anything while his mother was obviously bullying you" I said
"Carl you don't understand"
"Don't understand what Mom?" I freaked
"Let's just wait until dinner's over and then we can leave okay" she said
"Fine" I huffed before I started walking out. As I walked back into the living room I accidentally bounced into Miss Chambers
"I'm so sorry" I apologized but she only scoffed before leaving. I sighed before going back to the only group of people I know
"Welcome back" the coward said but I didn't say anything.
