"Unit and measurement, A hundred and fifty questions, multiple-choice paper, it is pass-fail. If we get ten wrong, we fail," she said
"That shouldn't be too hard I'll take the first seventy-five you take the last."

I had just finished setting everything up for girls' night when my husband suddenly came home
"Trudy, have you seen James?" he asked
"He's out"
"Out? Where did he go?" he asked
"He's throwing a party for Carlos' birthday on the beach" I answered, taking the pies out of the oven
"Oh, I absolutely love parties. I wonder if he'd mind his old man being there" he said
"Hugh, he's a teenage boy, he doesn't need nor want his father by his side, especially at a party. Not that you've even been there as of late," I said, putting the tray on the table
