After knocking on the door it opened and Nick stood in front of me
"James"
"Is Betty-Ann still inside?"
"Yeah" he said before he walked back in
"Guess who's here?" he said as I walked in to see Betty-Ann sitting on the couch
"James" she said startled
"I'll give you two some space" he said as he walked out
"I thought you left" she said after a minute of awkward silence
"I did" I said
"So why did you come back?" she asked
"Sophie told me to find out.....no I wanted to find out what happened"
"I see"
"So are you going to tell me or should I just leave?" I asked
"Take a seat"
"I feel like standing" I said
"Can you just sit down" she sighed.
After looking at her for a minute I took a seat beside her
"So what happened?" I asked
"After I left the party yesterday I wondered around the block but I was freezing because I was only in a dress. I stopped to take a seat outside the hotel"
