It had been over an hour since Hugh had drove away to buy his gift and I waited as patiently as I could but ever so often I would find myself staring back the door again
"What could possibly be taking him so long?" I asked myself. I decided to watch some t.v. to get my mind off it. Just as I turned on the T.V. I heard the doorbell rang and I excitedly got up and rushed the door.
However it wasn't Hugh, to be honest I should have known since Hugh wouldn't ring the doorbell
"Hey Trudy"
"Francisco, how nice to see you"
"Nice to see you as well. It's been awhile Merry Christmas"
"We saw each other last thanksgiving" I chuckled
"That was like what, four weeks ago? That's an entire month."
"I guess a month is a rather long time" I said
"Exactly"
"So why haven't I seen you all month?"
"I was busy out of town"
"You've been going out of town a lot recently. Is there a special reason?"
"Yeah"
"Really? Is there someone special"
"Yeah"
