(Present Day Ebenezer)
So once again I'm standing in front of Trudy's door wondering if I have the strength to knock. Once again at a cross roads in my life I wanted to hear he advice one last time I knocked and waited for her to come out
"Ebenezer?" She asked surprised
"Hey Trudy" I said
"What are you doing here? Please don't tell me you're here to cause trouble because I just"
"I signed the papers" I said
"What?" She asked
"Martha and I officially divorced"
"I see" she said
"Can we talk inside?" He asked
"Um... No. I don't think that would be appropriate. We can speak out here though" she said moving over to the patio furniture
"Sure" I said taking a seat
"So how are you feeling?"
"I don't know.... Oddly relieved like a weight came off my shoulders yet still-"
"You're worried about Martha"
"Yeah, I know Richie rich says he loves her but I have a feeling she doesn't know what she's getting herself into" I sighed
