Early the next morning I got out my bed at 3 am in the morning heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth before going down to the living room to leave for my morning jog. On my way out as I passed the couch, I noticed the TV was still on. Checking the couch I saw Sophie on the couch arms wrapped around Wendy as they slept soundly
I smiled as Sophie snuggled with Wendy while kicking her feet wildly
Thinking they might get cold I went back into my room and got a sheet to cover them with
"Sleep tight," I said shutting off the TV before walking out for my morning workout and job which led me to Sam's which had just opened. Exhausted I sighed walking in. Though I expected the store to be closed the minute I walked in I saw Nick and one other person waiting in line. I joined the line and he turned around to look at me without saying anything so I kept quiet as well.
The awkward silence went on until the other guy got his order
