TINA
A week has passed after the wedding. My family has gone back home, the guests have moved on to their usual routine, the company has resumed its operations. Everything about our dreamlike wedding has now went back to good memories. And I am stuck in my reality of having to maintain my side of the bargain.
I shook my head when Jiego turned to look at me. There was something off-putting with his tie. The colors are okay, aqua blue over a royal blue suit. Just that, the diagonal pattern doesn’t sit right with me.
“You don’t like it, do you?”
I shook my head land paced towards his direction. I’m no fashion expert but I know he can do better. In his closet were sets of ties that are way better than this one.
He exhaled, and I smelled fresh mint. I could feel his eyes on me as I held his tie and removed the knot.
“You have better ties.” - I breathed.
“Okay, then. I’ll let you decide.”
