TINA
As soon as the last look on the gown was over, Jiego grabbed my wrist and escorted me out of the store. Julia was tagging along us, a look of confusion on his face. I could just fill her up with the updates later when we already got rid of Aaron.
I looked at my left and Aaron was dialing a number on his phone. Perhaps to notify a driver to pick him up or something. Does he drive? I haven’t seen him behind the steering wheel just yet.
“You can come ride with us, Julia. Are you going home to your place?” – Jiego’s still in his serious voice.
Julia shot me a glance. I noted a slight raise on her brows.
“Uh… yes, I guess. Are you guys going back to work now?”
Yes, she can say that. which part of all this is not part of the work anyway?
I nodded and Jiego did the same after seeing my response. None of the three of us paid any attention to Aaron.
“Great. I’ll just be in my apartment.” – Julia mused and smiled.
A sudden wave of sadness flashed over me. My apartment.
