Chapter 18: 1970s
“Jay.. no no no NOOOO” a hysterical figure charged down the aisle of the theater screaming her lungs out. Her screeched echoed against the acoustic walls traveling faster towards us than her feet can take her. Zander pulled me behind him, standing before me protectively. The closer Sarah Beth got to us, the clearer we see her state of self. She was wearing her signature colors in an uncharacteristically unruly manner, her blonder curls were out of place, brunette colors beginning to grow from her roots, her makeup smudged and mismatched.
“Jay get away from her, she is a fraud, a liar a monster!”
“That’s enough Sarah Beth!”
“No Listen to me, she’s not what you think, she’s not the person you think she is!” she yelled at us.
“What in the world are you talking about, have you lost your mind”
“She’s not even Laura!”
“Have you lost your mind?!”
“I’m telling you the truth, please Jay you have to believe me,”
