It's a Sunday afternoon. Where am I, you ask? I chuckle bitterly as I take in my surroundings. Maybe you did not ask, but I will tell you anyway.
This is what my life has become. If I am being truthful, I never imagined this is where I would be.
It is not what I imagined growing up. So much has changed.
Too much has changed.
Growing up as a child, I always knew one day, I would eventually take over from my father as the Alpha of our wolf community. I would rule with love, care, and respect for my people while at the same time being just in my decisions.
