I woke up the next morning. It was also the day of the shift. When I realized it I jumped up and got excited. "Jeeze girl you don't have to get that excited." Said Taki. "Sorry Taki. I've never been anything but human. Being a free spirit sounds really exciting." "Well we'll see. Your not afraid of heights are you?" "No I'm not. Thank goodness for that. Ok done lets go out and greet the day Taki." So I went down to see everyone. "Good morning everyone. Happy to see you all today." "Ok Zelda I know it's the day you shift but please stop that. Its creeping me out." Said Ezra. "Sorry Ezra. I know it is but I'm just so excited! Ok what can I do to pass the time quickly?" Then steel said, "I know. Why don't you and Ezra go on a date? I heard your parents will be here later." "Ezra what do you think?" "Yeah sure. Is your brother coming too?" "Yeah he said he wouldn't miss it for the world." "Ok then we will leave around noon. Until then I know it takes you forever to get ready so you should start to get ready. Don't get too dressed up." "Ew don't worry you know I don't like dresses only light makeup plus it takes forever because I have to figure out how to style my hair ok? Jeeze men." "Ok yes us men go get whatever you need done." Then I went to eat breakfast and go to my room to get ready.
"Hmm. Taki I'll need your help. I don't know what to wear. He said not to get all dressed up. What if we end up doing sparring stuff?" "In that case the blue outfit. Not the goddess one but the blue and black one." "OK now what to do about my hair." "Hmm with that outfit lets see….Either a bun or a ponytail. Maybe a ponytail for now and if you do spar, you can change it up to a messy bun." "Ok thanks. What would I do without you Taki?" "Uh not turn. Ok well its not forever you still got a couple hours. What do you want to do?" "Maybe do a little reading." So I grabbed one of my how to books. Yeah I read those its mostly about training and all of that to give me pointers.
About a couple hours later I was on the last chapter when there was a knock on my door. "Come in." I said with my nose still in the book. Then I heard the door open and still didn't look up. "Its time to go. Oh I see you are reading a book." "Yeah I was on the last chapter I can read it later. Lets go." So I grabbed Ezra's hand and we were off.
"So where are we going?" "Haha looks like you already know seeing as how you are dressed like that." "We are sparing somewhere?" "Yep and as to where it's a surprise." "OK so how far is this place?" "Hmm well I guess if I told you, you would find out too. Don't worry its far."
Then finally we got there and I was shocked. "No way! Ezra how did you know? I…The only one I told was brother. It must have been him. That idiot. Thank you Ezra I haven't been here since I was 10. I wonder if people will still remember me."
I walked in and it hadn't changed much. Good thing I brought my hoodie. I also brought my dark blue almost black pants. I went over to check in. "Name." said the person at the register. Then I told him my fighter name. Which was fighter Tyra. Then I saw him look up and was shocked. "Yes of course. Good to have you back after 6 or 7 years." "Six years and thanks. Yes I remember where to go." Then I told Ezra to wait in the stands and I waited in my area.
After two fights it was finally my turn. When the announcer saw my name I saw his shocked face. "OK the next fighters are Monster Jack and someone we have not seen in 6 years has returned. Fighter Tyra!" I jogged into the ring. Everyone cheered for me. 'Looks like they haven't forgotten me. Ok lets do this Taki' I said in my head to her. Then finally he told us to go and we fought.
It was a close fight but I won of course. Then I fought the rest of the fights then it was time to go home. Oh yeah I won those too but after all that I was pretty beat up. Taki helped me heal a little a bit.
Ezra came running over to me to see if I was ok. "How are you feeling?" "Peachy. I'll live. I've had worse. I almost died when I was 10. Ah. I need more practice." "You know you can't do this for much longer right?" "Yeah I know. I have responsibilities here pretty soon." "Oh yeah I need to come when I am free I need to tell them I would have to retire early then I will have to tell them my name." "You sure you want to do that?" "Yeah I will have to. A fighter always does when they retire. My old friend I didn't see there. Wait before we get further I have to know more about my old friend." "Ok don't take too long."
"Hey there announcer. Thanks for everything. Uh have you seen my old friend fighter Tiger?" "Oh well no one knows what happened to him. He has been gone just as long as you have." "I see thank you. I'll see you all again when I am free." "Ok see you." Then I left with Ezra.
We got home and it was already dark. I was already healed mostly. I went to my room to change. I took a nice long shower and changed into something for dinner. (It was definitely not a dress but something nicer than I wore.) I sat down and ate. Once dinner was done I found something to do to pass time until midnight when I would shift.
Finally it was half an hour before time to shift. Everyone was there and we all walked to the river which was a nice and beautiful place to shift. I was wearing shorts and a tank top just in case it tore. As for the clothes auntie brought some for me. When we got there I only had a few minutes left before I shifted. "Brother. I'm scared and excited at the same time. Is that normal?" "I'm sure it's a normal feeling but I'm human and you were too and we felt that way too plenty of times. So I don't know what to feel when you are about to turn." Ezra's father came too.
Midnight came faster than I thought. I just heard Taki say "Ready?" "I'm scared but yeah I'm ready." "Ok the pain will only last a little bit once you turn back it will hurt a lot less. Here we go." Then my bones started cracking and breaking to form into a flying wolf which was called a free spirit. The shift lasted for 4 minutes but it was still painful. I screamed and closed my eyes for 4 minutes. After the pain I slowly opened my eyes. I looked at everyone and they had a shocked face. "Hey Taki is t too dark to see ourselves?" "Yeah but we can look tomorrow. Then we can see how gorgeous we look." Then we walked over and let everyone touch us and they pet us as well. "Now I see why animals like being pet. It feels nice." "Yeah it does." "Should we try our wings or wait till tomorrow too." "We should wait until tomorrow." "Ok sure." "OK you can turn back now. Its ok. Just think about being human." "OK sure." Then I felt my bones crack but it wasn't as painful like she said. Auntie hurriedly got a towel just in case clothes ripped. "Its ok Aunt. My clothes didn't rip." I was shocked I thought they would have. Taki?" "Perks of being a free spirit. If I was a normal werewolf it totally would have ripped." We went inside and all went to bed after that.
The next morning I woke up thinking everything was a dream. "Did that actually happen Taki?" "Yes it did Zelda." "You said it won't hurt when we shift again?" "No it shouldn't. Ready to show off?" "Yeah lets do it. Get a shower and dress like a badass girl." "Hell yes." So I took a shower and dressed all in black with a blue tank top black pants black jacked and boots.
I went down to see the others. "Morning everyone. Ready so see my beautiful form in the light?" "Yeah lets do it." said Ezra. The king came as well. We went to the same place where I shifted before. "Ok ready Taki?" "Lets go girl." So I closed my eyes and waited for my complete shift.
I finally finished them opened my eyes and saw them like before but it was light outside. "Woah Taki. Love the vision. You can see stuff clearer. Oh lets see our color." WE went over to the water and our color is ice blue with a white bottom and chest. My ears were blue and eyes to match. My nose was black. I had a diamond on my forehead. "Wow we are a beauty Taki." "I know right." Then I looked at the others. I heard Ezra and understood him. "Can you understand me Taki?" We nodded. "OK good. You are beautiful free spirit. One of the last." She nodded. "Lets go for a run what do you think Taki? See who runs faster? A dragon or a wolf?" So we ran and of course he beat us. Then we turned back. "Hey of course you will win you are way bigger than we are. Its not a fair fight." "Haha its not my fault I'm a dragon. I was born that way." "Whatever. Lets go train to find my dragons. But before that I might have an idea where my old friend tiger is. I told him that if I ever came back I would meet him someplace. I'll be back."
As I was on my way to my destination I heard a strange sound. Like a ringing pitch sound. It wasn't loud enough to hurt my ears though. I turned around and didn't see anything. I walked on with that sound still going. It was irritating not knowing what that sound was.
After 10 miles of walking I found the place. I stayed a distance away at first to admire the old place he and I hung out in. Tiger was an old friend. I met him when I first went to the ring. There was a ring where kids under certain ages go and there was a ring for adults which I fought for the first time when Ezra brought me.
I was still standing where I stopped and scanned the area and didn't see anyone. I wanted to go in and see if he was there but I was nervous. He is only a year older than me. Then Taki spoke. "This man Tiger as his name is for now. Would you want to show him our form if you could?" "Yeah I'm sure he would want to see it. Like I said though I haven't seen him for 5 or 6 years. I don't know why aunt and uncle stopped me coming over to visit Ezra though. I would have still came here. Then maybe I wouldn't be so scared of dragons so much." "Well why don't we ask your aunt and uncle they might know." "Yeah maybe I will. Ok shall we Taki? Your will me right Taki?" "Always girl. Don't worry I don't think he will hurt you. If he does its out of love or anger for being gone so long." "Haha knowing him I wouldn't blame him." So I took a deep breath and let it out. Then I started walking up the small hill.
I got to the entrance then I stopped myself from going in. I scanned the area. My heart was beating fast out of nervousness. The sound is a little stronger here. Then it suddenly stopped. I was a little cautious now and ready for a fight if needed.
I heard steps behind me then they stopped. I very slowly turned around and saw a wide eyed surprised Tiger. I was stunned as well and couldn't speak. I saw him go back to his original face when I was still stunned and couldn't move. "So you finally came back after almost 6 years huh?" No response. "Hey are you ok? Tyra are you ok?" I was holding my breath the whole time. "Its ok breath. Come on its ok. You need to breath or you will pass out." He helped me sit down and he hugged me. I finally took a deep breath and started breathing again. I was panting for awhile then finally calmed down. "Cough Cough. Pant Pant Pant. I'm…Ok…I think." "Well I was going to punch you but then I saw you couldn't breathe so I held back. But not that you are fine." Then he punched me in the shoulder. "Ow that hurt you idiot." "You were gone for almost 6 years. Next month would have been the even 6 what the hell happened to you?" "If you didn't stop fighting you would have seen me at the fighting area yesterday. But whatever why did you stop? You could have gotten stronger without me." "No I couldn't. You not being there messed with my mental being. If I fought I wouldn't have listened to anyone and kept on punching the person." "Tiger there is some things about me you need to know now."
"Ok shoot. Tell me everything about your life so far." "OK. Well lets first start off with who I am. I'm not supposed to tell a lot of people so it has to be a secret ok?" "Sure I won't tell a soul." "Ok good. I am the dragon princess. I already have my first 2 Blizzard and Levi. They are dragons that will be by my side in a future battle. More near future. Remember when I told you about my parents death? Well now he found us my brother and I are in danger. I will be coming to fight at the ring in the future but not much longer. I will have responsibilities. When I do retire I will tell everyone my real name and you will know it as well." Then I will as well. Everyone will know my name." "No please. Lets see how pretty she looks." "OK cool." "Ok Taki lets do it." So I turned and he was shocked. "Woah gorgeous. Mind if I touch you?" I nodded. Then he rubbed his hands on my back. Touched my wings. "Woah love the color. The diamond in front. No it couldn't be. Taki are you?" "Shh yes I am. I haven't told her yet." "Told me what Taki?" "Don't worry about it." Then I turned back. "Yes my clothes stay on. Oh and a couple more things. The crown prince Ezra is my fiancé and I have powers. Other than that nothing changed much." "Nothing changed much? Are you kidding me Tyra? That is a hell of a lot that changed!" He grabbed me and I was shocked for a second. Then I started crying silently. Tiger felt the tears and still held me. "Its ok now Tyra. I can be there for you now." After awhile I calmed down.
"I have a question for you Tiger. That whistling ringing sound. What was that?" He had that nervous and embarrassed face on. It was just always so adorable. "I haven't seen that adorable face in awhile." "Hey now. Its not adorable. Yes that sound was me. Sorry did it hurt your ears?" "Na my ears are strong. If I was using Taki's yeah it would be a little sensitive but I wasn't. It was a little loud when I got here though." "Yeah I am another creature as well. You probably guessed it when that sound came huh?" "Yeah there are a few creatures that make that sound." "Ok don't be shocked I will show you my form." "OK sure. I can't promise not to be shocked though." "Fair enough." He turned to his form and I backed away a bit. He looked like a demon with two different color eyes. He had emerald green skin with ruby red yes and wings. With black where the bones were on is wings. The rest of him is human figure but his ears and feet were not. His ears and feet matched the color of his wings. "What are you?" "I am a type of demon. As you know I never knew my father. Except that I was told he wasn't this kind of demon. They don't know where in the line I got it from." Then he turned back. "Did it scare you?" "No I was just shocked is all. Anyway why do you whistle?" "Uh I do that to lure prey to me before I kill it. I just saw someone come here and didn't know it was you. I'm glad it was. I really missed you Tyra." "Oh Tiger I missed you too." I went over and hugged him. "So what about your family. Are you going back?" "No uh I told them I wanted to venture off on my own. Since I was turning 18 next year they let me. So I chose to come here. I've been coming here every day since you left. Then I decided to live here until you came back. I have been staying here for months." "So now that I am back what do you plan on doing?" "Well if its ok Tyra. I would love to serve you." "Oh uh then I would have to tell you my real name because you will hear it anyway. Its Zelda." "Hmm. Zelda huh? Pretty name. I guess I can tell you my name since you will need to know as well its Arrow." "Hmm. Arrow. Interesting. Wait did you say Arrow? Don't tell me." said Taki. "What is it Taki?" "Let me talk to him. I won't need to transform just permission to take control just for right now." "Ok sure." Then she pushed me out of my mind and blocked me out. Taki used her mind link toward him.
"Don't be afraid Arrow. Its only Taki. Yes I am the princess of the wolves. I need to know something. Tell me are you the Arrow of a man named Jasper?" "That is my fathers name so I guess so." "I thought so. Then I will have you serve with us. Can I tell her about you and your father?" "Yes please I would like to know too."
