It had been four months since the Ramos incident, and Miller and Nolan had stayed in contact for a while now. It was almost time now, just a few things left, and that was the getaway route because, after Bruce's death, they had to find a new hacker. They were still looking for a hacker when Alan volunteered, but they needed a professional. They had found one named Archangel.
There was one more obstacle between. That was the hacker they hired. Something had to be done. Nolan and Alan were trying to distract themselves. They started to head out and go to a nearby cafe to have a coffee and forget about it. An old man Nolan had met before was waiting for them downstairs as he asked Nolan if he was ready to get out already. But they ignored and left the building. As they headed to the nightclub, Phil called Alan and asked them to stop by a warehouse outside the city before the bunker.
They entered the warehouse, and things were tense; they got to know the hacker they hired backed out suspiciously. They needed someone on the table; Phil asked Nolan for the same as he knew about the Food Chain job he had done years ago. but Alan volunteered himself, saying it would be better if he stayed in the field.
It was settled. Alan was the guy in the chair. They just needed one more thing before they could head out: the escape route. Jimmy proposed to use the underground tunnel, but with a twist. Nolan kept a record of everything so he could head back and record it digitally for safekeeping.
But there was still one flaw: they needed different cars that were unregistered. That sounded like a paint job, and it was time to get creative; shin took that as an opportunity and told them about a getaway stop.
The plan was finally complete. It was risky, but it was worth everything.
It was a fine morning in the bank when people were coming in and going out, doing their usual business; Morgan P.S. was very busy during this time. Soon enough, a loud explosion took out of the convenience store near the bank. Five cars came in like thunder and crashed into the Bank's main entrance. The entrance was soon blocked and as the police reached a scene a man came out of one of the cars with a jacket bomb and As the countdown began. The wall behind the reception exploded and 7 men wearing hockey masks entered the bank and started shooting here and there.
Soon the receptionist started to panic, and she picked up the phone, but she was shot in the head before she could dial a single digit. They moved quickly toward the vaults; shots were fired at anyone who came in their way. They soon planted 4 more explosives. And waited for it to explode the wall down. The wall came down, and they were in front of the vault before they knew it. Soon three men were told to find their way out.
They cleared the way to the basement where they found their way into an abandoned mall. As they came up, cops had shown up somehow. They started shooting the cops one by one. Taking cover and firing one at a time. As their way got cleared one cop rushed in from the side while one of the robbers was trying to reload his weapon. One of the other men shot the cop before he could radio for backup they walked into another basement from which a pipeline should be going from underground. They jumped into the pipe. They found the location they were waiting for. finally, they used their remaining explosives to blow up the wall, which led straight into the bank.
The other men were ready, and the cash came out running. As they went through a complex network of tunnels half of them went ahead while half of them took a different way. The first half found themselves sneaking into the locker room of tunnel maintenance people whose supervisor was brought off prior to the heist. They grabbed the gear and then replaced their money bags to boxes and moved into a FedEx truck. They loaded the boxes and then they went ahead to the rendezvous point The other group got into 2 getaway cars and speeded their way into an old steel factory.
They got the money out hidden in huge gas cylinders while the number plates on the cars were changed and the paint stickers were taken off. They disguised themselves as factory workers and headed towards the country. While the cars were driven away to an auto repair shop. But there was a problem. This group came across two cops investigating two bike riders, and one of the cops was run over by mistake. One of them goes out and shoots the two of them and the bike riders with the same UZI.
He dropped the UZI into the water and dug the bullets out of the body and took it with him. They left the truck and stole a car. They shot the couple with the cops' weapon and left no trace. They got in the car and drove to the rendezvous point. Then the entire money was sent in a truck that would drive to the bunker, and the money would stay there until the matter was gone away without a trace; they burned their clothes and put on some new disguises, each with a fake passport aboard a cargo ship.
The money was in the bunker safely. At the same time, the whole crew was out of the country, except for Dante, who stayed behind with a new staff. They were supposed to come after 5 months, which was the original plan. Alfred showed up at the nightclub, stationed Miller outside the entrance, and went inside with James. As he went in, he should have his badge so the security would not bother them.
As he went in, Dante, who sat on the chair, looked at him with a suspicious glance, Then got up, walked to him, opened his arms, and gave him a tight hug. They started catching up, and he congratulated him on the heist. He thanked him and told him that his intelligence was worth it, but really it wasn't any real intelligence; they discussed their future as partners while they discussed Alfred told him about the raid at Ramos'es house.
Dante said to him that it was good riddance. After a long discussion, Alfred left the nightclub with both James and Miller. As James wanted to know what was discussed, the only thing Miller said was that he was not going to give it up. They had to come up with a contingency. And they have to come up with it fast. because if this time they screwed it up there was no going back. There was no undoing.
After 2 months, Nolan and Alan go back to their houses to check things, and Alan finds his sister at the cemetery of Carly's grave. She tells him that she was so young and wanted to know more. She was the purest of heart, to which Alan replied she probably had no idea how the world worked. Alan says that they just got done with a job, They were close to coming back home than ever. She asked him if it was scary, to which Alan replied it was very scary.
Another 1 month passed by, and Nolan and Alan were going about their old lives until James reached them and told them it was almost time to come back. Nolan finds it surprising that Alan hasn't gone to work in the last 1 month, and soon, he gets to know that he was never planning to. He quit his job and was ready to leave this city for good.
As 4 months had gone, Nolan and Alan returned to the nightclub, but no one was back yet. It was just Dante, he asked to see what Gavin was doing in the new plant. When they went to meet gaving they found out what happened to Jimmy.
2 months ago Jimmy had returned and was dealing a serious loss, he didn't share what was wrong but he was certainly depressed he overdosed himself on the new Meth they recieved from the chinese a few years ago. But he was alright when he returned he put a gin to his head asking for liberation and talk about how people has treated him throughout his life.
He then went on to say how strong he had become now; he had become a god. He took down corporations to their knees, and the Senator has no money now. Rival gangs have no money now, he can do what ever he want with his money, He is stronger than the entire world now. Then he pulled the trigger, but luckily, the gun had no magazine. As he probed the gun, he was pissed. He started banging the gun, and others ambushed him.
Jimmy is in rehab and won't be back before a couple of months. Listening to this, they both are disheartened, but something had to be done. It had been 3 more weeks, Dante was not talking to them and both of them started helping Gavin setup the factory for the new Meth outpost.
Soon, they met the accountant. His name was Emmanuel H Rodriguez, and he used to be the vice chancellor's accountant; as he entered, he was shivering as it was obvious his richest client was letting him go as he had suffered a big loss and he had recently sold some of his men off to the triads.
He was afraid he had a target on his back, and he was anxious. As he opened his briefcase, he pulled out a file and gave it to Gavin. Gavin took a good look at it, it was a surplus of four hundred thousand. It meant that it could be a new start. Both Nolan and Alan looked puzzled at first.
Gavin, out of nowhere, called their new distributor and told him to get new passports. He had a new assignment. He then brought in some papers for the accountant, and he told him to fuck off now.
Nolan could sense that the triad may be after them now. He and Alan had to go and look at the weed farm; they stopped their car in an alley out back of the factory. which was under the basement. They got stopped by some gangbangers. Nolan got himself free, and he saw two of them holding Alan. Nolan, with only a couple of seconds in his hand, takes out a gun and starts shooting; the other leaves Alan. It is at that moment he gets a punch in his gut, and Nolan shoots him in his head as well.
Nolan noticed one of the bodies, and it turned out to be one of the guys from the warehouse where they stole the cocaine stash. He sent Alan inside, and he called Dante.
Dante picked up, after he learned about it, and asked him not to tell anyone else and then cut the call. Nolan was utterly unsure of what just happened or if Dante and the other knew something he didn't.
After the incident and checking the farm, Alan and Nolan went back to the place, and they had a bottle in their hands. Nolan took the bottle upstairs while Alan brought in some boxes.
The man from the apartment below theirs finally broke his silence and asked them nicely for dinner at his house. They kept their stuff in the apartment, and then they went there; after he served them coffee, he looked away and he started walking to the kitchen. Nolan knew something was fishy and then shared a look with Alan.
Alan got his gun ready soon. The man charged toward them with a gun and said, "You have the right to remain silent; anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.". This time, Alan didn't hesitate. He interrupted him and said the FBI sent them.
But he then asked for the officers to name them, and Nolan told him about Alfred. He told them with conviction and a louder voice that no man named Alfred was in the FBI. He showed his badge and said he was a real cop, and he was done with this bullshit.
Things just got a lot more complicated, and now there was nowhere to run to. Alan asked him if he knew James; he denied that, too. It was getting heated up; soon, they were in the middle of a standoff.
