The elevator doors opened, and a cold breeze hit the faces of the young corporals as they stepped into the central terminal of Fortress Titan. Lana signaled the soldiers to march forward as they set their eyes on the massive structure they were meant to protect.
"Fortress Titan was built on the blood of our soldiers during the first war against the Alpha. It stands over 900 meters tall and forms a dome-like structure at the top," Leon thought to himself as he walked forward in awe. This was his second time seeing the fortress, but its size never ceased to amaze him. Lost in thought, he collided with Lana, who stopped and turned around.
"Ow!" Lana bit her lip as she glared at Leon, who shrugged it off. She looked at the rest of the group, cleared her throat, and stepped back.
"Corporal Regalis, that's 100 pushups for you," she ordered, and Leon nodded as he got down and started doing pushups on the spot. Lana then diverted her attention to the rest of the group.
