Leon hovers to the side now that his bunkmate buddy has decided to go against his former crew member.
"Remember the technique I am going to show now and practice, improvise if needed, Agnus! Over here!" Seargent Kim ordered.
Luke jogs his way to where the sergeant is standing and then suddenly the sergeant plunges downwards and forwards which startles Luke for a moment. The next thing he knew, the world around him was spinning and his body felt light… then...
BAM!!.
His shoulders and his back slams to the ground leaving Luke disoriented.
"And that's how it's done," Kim says as he dusts his palms off and stares at the crowd.
"Are you still with us Cadet Agnus?!" The sergeant asked. "SIR YES SIR!" Luke replied gritting his teeth inwardly.
The rest of the class was quiet as Luke's friends gulped at the sire of their friend.
how it was done…, Or at least tried to, but a few cadets managed to grasp his movements, including Leon as he mimics the stand while hovering.
"So what are you waiting for? We don't have all day! And remember, get your opponent to fall and you'll be considered the winner of the bout!" The Seargent commanded and the rest of the cadets went to their respective courts to start with the training.
Luke got up and went back to where Hiro was and it was clear… Luke was pissed.
'Why does this day keep getting worse for me? First I was in the disciplinary Dorm for no reason and now the sergeant has humiliated me like this!'
He frowns inwardly as he looks at Hiro who was staring coldly at him and then looked away.
"Hey Nakamura, you want a piece of me or what?" Luke replied as he got up gritting his teeth.
"Huh?.. Sure?" Hiro looked around in confusion but then walked towards Luke since he did not have a sparing partner anyways.
Leon who finished mimicking the move then looks at the match between Hiro and Luke.
'this will be interesting' Leon's interest piqued up.
Hiro starts with the conversation while he preps up his stance " you ready Luke?"
Luke also gets his stance ready and bends his knee a bit low "let's begin."
the court below them glows yellow signalling them to fight.
Luke takes a long step forward and goes for a right Body shot which Hiro dodges by jumping to the side, but this gets his feet off the ground and Luke exploited this opportunity and swirls his arms around Hiro s leg and slams him to the floor!
"Ouch!..." Leon winced as he saw Hiro's head smack into the tatami floor.
The court glows green on Luke's side meaning that He received one point
Startled from the fall, Hiro slowly gets up and gets his stance ready and the court glows yellow, signalling the fight to commence while glaring at Luke,
" If you are going to play dirty, Do it right" Hiro murmurs coldly as he makes a tight fist and then opens his palms and sharpens his gaze.
The murmur was audible enough for Luke and Leon to hear which surprised Leon as Hiro he knew was Kind and a compassionate person.
The one he is witnessing at the moment… had their eyes glaring with killing intent and moves forward.
Leon goes closer to see the movements while Luke takes a step back to keep the distance but is tripped by Hiro in an instant with a low kick as he pins his leg behind Luke and goes for a jab on Luke's nuts.
Going pale with the immediate sense of danger to his future generations, Luke forced himself to jump away with his other leg, and this time… It was Hiro who used the opportunity to grab Luke by his vest and slam him flat onto the ground and Luke slams the back of his head to the floor.
'OOOF he had that coming !!" Leon winces and rubs the back of his head as Hiro's side glowed green signalling his victory and he goes back to his side.
Luke takes a minute to recover and bites his lower lip in frustration. 'I am not going to lose to this Nobody!' and took a fighting stance different from what the sergeant taught.
Hiro was confused but he also took his stance and the court glowed yellow.
Leon's eyes widened with curiosity when he saw Luke taking up that stand and this time stuck close to Hiro and observes the fight close up as both of them.
The match begins and the two start throwing punches at each other, most of which they dodge by creating distance while the other covers the distance to enhance their reach.
Hiro tanks a punch to the gut while delivering one straight to the chin, Leon's face goes pale and Hiro notices that Luke has his hands wrapped around Hiro's arm in an uncomfortable position.
Hiro's face got pale and started to strike Luke straight in the face but It did' not do anything rather, Luke's muscles start bulging as if he is planning to break Hiro's arm.
In the heat of the moment, Hiro rolls over with Luke on him towards Leon's direction and then suddenly, without thinking- He kicks Luke out of the hold which sends him flying back and he lands on his back while a cracking noise was heard! The court shines gold on Hiro's side declaring his victory.
"Huh?" both murmur in unison as Leon phases out of Hiro while both carry an uncomfortable expression on his face.
'What just happened"..
