Chapter 5 - Elle

"Rise and shine sunshine!" Daisy groaned as sunlight hit her face. She rolled over in her bed to check the time on her phone. "Mom it's 7am. Why are you waking me up this early on a Sunday?" "Have you forgotten about your World's Most Influential Teens photoshoot?" Daisy groaned. "Come on. I'll make you a protein shake to carry and you need to get ready. A car will be here to take you to your photoshoot at eight," her mom said before leaving.

Daisy sighed. Well there goes my day off. Daisy thought as she stripped to take a shower.

Two hours later and Daisy was seated in a chair with a white robe on, waiting on the hair and makeup personnel to show up.

While she was casually flipping through a magazine she heard a loud voice. "Hola bitches the star has arrived!" She turned to the door where she saw none other than Elle Valentine. Elle wasn't your typical model build but she was incredibly beautiful. She had long dark almost black hair, deep chocolate eyes and perfect full pink lips. She was only 5'5, about the same height as Daisy, though she was on the more plump side. Elle was voted the Most Influential Teen On The Planet last year. She had ten million followers and she was only eighteen. Elle had been featured in Teen Vogue twice and was nominated for Teen Model of The Year. She lost to a Brazilian teen but she was second overall, which was still a massive achievement. She was Daisy's idol.

Elle greeted the photographer and went into the bathroom where she returned shortly, wearing a robe similar to Daisy's except hers had her name on the back in gold. Daisy almost stopped breathing when Elle sat next to her. Elle sipped her frappe as she flipped through a magazine. "Oooh I love this picture of me. I should have it framed," she said to herself. She continued making comments to herself for a few more minutes until she finally turned and acknowledged Daisy. "Hello." "Oh my gosh! I can't believe you're actually talking to me! I'm a huge fan!" Elle chuckled. "Thanks but I'm just a person," Elle chuckled. "No you're like the teen Kylie Jenner." "That's sweet of you to say. Who are you?" Elle asked. "I'm Daisy. Daisy Black." "Well Miss Black it's very nice to meet you." "So are you from California?" "I am actually." "Cool. Well the next time I come here you can show me around." Daisy smiled. "You're on."

"Excuse me," Elle said as she got up to throw away the empty cup. Daisy noticed fifteen minutes had passed since Elle had been gone. She decided to check the bathroom. "Elle?" She asked as she opened the door. "Oh! Hey," Elle said as she sniffled, lifting her head up from the bathroom sink. Daisy noticed a clear plastic bag on the counter with a white powdery substance. If she had to take a guess, she would say it was coke.

Elle wiped her nose, stuck the rest of the plastic bag in her robe pocket and washed her hand as if it was nothing. "Coming?" She asked Daisy as she exited the bathroom. "S-Sure," Daisy stuttered. The whole time she and Elle were getting their makeup done, all Daisy could think of was seeing Elle doing drugs. She didn't expect someone like Elle to do drugs. She just didn't seem like the type. Great. Now she was stereotyping people. Once hair and makeup was done they were to go to the backdrop to take the group photos. It was a swimsuit edition. All the girls except for Daisy were lined up. In a split second Daisy did something she swore she would never do. She reached into Elle's robe pocket, took out the remainder of the coke, placed a solid amount on her finger and sucked it off then slipped it into her bag. Elle did it and she seemed happy so why not give it a try? Daisy thought. Halfway into the photoshoot she was on cloud 9. She was cracking jokes and doing weird dances and the rest of the models and the photographers were enjoying this side of Daisy.

The next day Daisy walked into school like a boss. She had curled her hair, put on a tight tank top, black leather jacket, blue skinny jeans and black boots. She strolled in wearing shades. She had taken another line of coke just before she left out for school and she could feel the effects and she was loving it. "Hey whoa! Did you undergo an overnight transformation?" Angelina asked. Daisy smirked. "Like?" Just then Julissa came running to the two of them. "Girl did you see that Elle tagged you in her story?" "What? Let me see," Angelina snatched Julissa's phone. There was a video of Elle and Daisy singing off key to a Katy Perry song. "Cool," Daisy said as she opened her locker. "Cool? You hung out with Elle Valentine and all you have to say is cool?" Julissa asked and Daisy just shrugged. "We're both celebrities. It's only natural that we hang out together." "Hey babe. Didn't you see my messages last night?" Daisy's boyfriend Zack asked. Zack was the All-American boy next door, quarterback, top male scholar, tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, every girl's dream guy. Truth be told, Julissa had a crush on him back in middle school but he had liked Daisy. Everyone always did. "No. I got in late from my photoshoot." Angelina and Julissa excused themselves from the couple. "Are you okay?" "I'm fine babe." Daisy forced her tongue down Zack's throat before walking away, leaving him worried.
