Chapter 1 - 1| Engagement, Wedding, Honeymoon, Divorced.

Living with a broken heart for over two months plus now was all my fault.

If I had kept my mouth shut and my secrets within myself, it wouldn't have turned out this way.

All my life, I thought everyone would just be like me. Maybe not really but sometimes people do resemble people, making someone have your alike look, so I thought someone might have my same kinda personality and type of kindhearted mind.

I once had friends. Just few of them and the one I trusted the most was Blanca Suarez.

We both went to the same college but not same highschool.

Even my parents began to like her too. She was lovely, lively, full of life and loved everyone around her.

Her family and mine became close friends.

I gave her my all. When I mean all, I mean to say my everything. We shared our personal belongings, talked things out most of the times, shared our sorrows.

Infact, we both rented an apartment back then in college. We lived our lives together like normal friends do.

Sometimes when I'm in class receiving lectures and she's at home, my longtime boyfriend Dawson Anderson, will come over.

Though it happens randomly whenever am not around and Blanca will call me on phone, telling me my man is here to see me.

What do I say to her?

I'll tell her to keep him company until I return. And she do.

Okay, not the other way round by keeping him company, I meant entertainment like video games, random funny chats and gist.

You know....

My Ex was just seven years older than me. Six feet and five inches taller than me. Very muscular, beefy, brawly and handsome with dark curls and brown eyes.

Me?

I'm just average. Five feet tall, petite, skinny, blonde, jet-black eyes, blessed with the hourglass figure which hugged in my body curves and shape.

When we were still in highschool, he was my senior and I was a junior.

I proudly remember when those mean girls usually flirt around with him but he doesn't give them attention. All his time was drawn to me and since I left highschool, I never had a bully.

Thanks to him for that.

He finished highschool before me and went to college. We both loved ourselves so much that he proposed to me when I was in highschool.

Yup. We got engaged at a very early age. Then, I was only sixteen and he was twenty-three.

It was a bond of promise between us. And the other way of saying 'We won't separate from each other.' Even when he was the one gaining admission into college first.

He took over his father's position in the company just after he was done with his master degree program.

He's from a wealthy renowned family, very famous and popular in the whole of America.

There's no one who doesn't know the mega-multi billionaire Anderson family. It was well-known to the world and I envy them sometimes.

Only them owned the Anderson Empires (AE) and Anderson Airlines. (AA).

I once wished my family was like them. They had everything wrapped up on their finger.

Speaking of my family, we only managed a farm yard...just one acre.

It's a very large farm where we rear farm animals, plant and harvest crops and so on with the agricultural revolution.

It belongs to my dad, Marvin Courtney and my mom, Francesca Courtney, managed it with him.

We don't have much to depend on except the farm which they had since I was five.

And if you're asking if am the only child, well yes. Though mom wanted to give me siblings but she had several miscarriages which almost lead her to early grave.

When I introduced Dawson to my family....dad got a bit disappointed in me.

He thinks rich people look down on we the poor masses. And yet, I brought one home to mock us.

According to mom, the rich are destined to marry the rich and the poor to the poor.

But Dawson is not a proud guy. He's not full of himself, infact his family too. They don't give a shit bout those olden slangs.

They're totally different in every way. They don't like to brag or showoff with their ranks or high-class.

They love helping people and showing love to the helpless. It was his side of life I noticed that there are still rich people who cares for the less privilege.

Infact, he supported our farming career.

His family supported us everytime. Dad don't usually asks things from people because it's not his thing.

But the Anderson family made sure they stood by our side severally. Like a body of pillar to wedge on.

They stock our farmland with machineries and all kinda things necessary to work in the farmyard.

Dad had workers and his farm was growing bountifully. He's even planning on having a first branch in L.A.

Since our main headquarters kicks at Alabama, southern region in America. That's where mom and dad lives too.

When I got married at a very early age of twenty.... that's when I finished college.

Dawson suggested we get married as soon as I graduated from college. He's been waiting for so long and his family couldn't wait any longer.

They liked me and wanted me to be the world's best daughter in-law in the family.

Well, I did my best to behave that way. Everything was going smoothly and fine. All those times, my friend Blanca Suarez, accompanied me.

She was the chief bridesmaid. She was still single and I was lucky to get married before her.

Men weren't on scarcity, it's just that Blanca on her own is seeking for a comfortable life like mine. She's from a middle class family like me too.

I kept my eyes on her several times at my wedding when she mingled with few of Dawson friends and family.

Even his cousins, friends and all— they aren't ready to settle down. All they want is just fuck and flirt with every women.

Dawson was the only one different from them. Maybe because we met early?

Wedding ended. Dawson and I began to live our lives comfortably without hindrances.

Our honeymoon was like the best in Greece.

We had fun, catching adventures in the cruise ship, flying boat, power bike and so on.

Every detail, Blanca would want to hear.

So what?

She's my bestie and partner in crime. I told her everything and she was eager to marry too.

I usually gave her hopes and soothe her whenever she thought it was too late for her turn.

Nevertheless, honeymoon ended and it was time for everybody to buckle up on what life prepared for us.

Dawson and I usually go to their family mansion (The Anderson mansion) where we had special day for family dinner.

It's always on Saturday. Every Saturday.

And I didn't hesitate bringing Blanca along.

Things began to happen, I mean weird things. My bestie would tell me to push my relationship to the next level, I would ask her how?

She would tell me dare with his reputation.

Holy fuck!

My eyes would only bug out like they're gonna pop out.

Like ruin his reputation? But for what? That guy is so nice to me.

He hasn't done anything to offend me and his family?

They love me like am the world's most favorite child.

Why should I do such a wicked thing in pay back of the good things they've been doing for I and my family?

Blanca would tell me, it's a sign to win more love and affection from my darling husband.

Foolish me. I kept all of these to myself and didn't tell my mother about it.

My mom barely knew what I know since Blanca and I became friends. I would rather disclose my personal life to Blanca than to tell a shit of it to my parents.

But when everything exploded...?

Boom!

Bursted.

I never knew I was doing myself. I made the Anderson's family hate me with disgust. Not just that. I made Dawson dislike me, causing his love for me to turn into hatred.

When I realized that everything Blanca told me was only to fool me out of my marital because she was jealous of my statues, it was too late.

I search for tears, my eyes were too dry to give me one drop.

Blanca was already having an affair with my husband.

I fought with her wherever I bumped into her, irrespective of who I was. She always end up defeating me.

Gradually, the Anderson family liked her over me. They choose her over me because she found her way to trick them and sly into the family.

She became the favorite daughter in-law and I was a kick-out.

My parents avoided me for a little while because of what I did to myself and how I always opened up to Blanca.

But as time goes on, they accepted me back.

Come on, am the only child. Would they use me to play temple run with just one life-bar remaining?

I believe no.

Not too long, I was called out in court. My parents accompanied me. To my greatest surprised, it was a day for Dawson and Blanca's wedding at the registry and the day I signed my divorce papers.

High pressure and hypertension hit on me. If not for my parents who stood for me, I would have collapsed or maybe left there with an asthma.

I didn't let everything died there.

God forbid.

I continued pestering them. I try to make sure Dawson gives me a listening ear so I can tell him about everything and what was behind my naughty behaviors.

He didn't want to see me or come across me in the next life.

Yeah, that's what he always tells me.

I try going to meet his cousins and friends on daily basis so they could help me talk to him ....wrong numbers. Try again some other time.

Those people hate me like dead. Infact like shit!

For me, to them, I look like a piece of rejected element left on the ground to get crushed by other people's foot.

The only thing Dawson left for me was the apartment we lived in when we got married and his black Mercedes Benz C-class.

Those are what he left for me before building another villa where him and Blanca now lives happily.
