"I am not the one kidnapping you." Layla snapped. "Of course I would question the man who came into my room and threatened me with violence. Yet, you wish me to entertain you with conversation. I may have come willingly, but I still had no choice."
"I said it'd be an interesting journey, not that you'd have ta worry 'bout entertainin' me." Baeron shot back.
Layla glowered. "I hope for your sake that this is as interesting as this journey gets." She would have crossed her arms if she wasn't afraid of toppling off of the horse.
"Ya should be worryin' for your own sake. For such a pure spirited person, ya sure are hostile. Perhaps under different circumstances I'd hope you're different" Baeron steered the horse down the dirt and snow covered path.
