Wynter cautiously crept forward along the edge of the rooftop, leaning over to peer down at the guards that passed by underneath. She held still until they passed before signaling for Jaharra to follow behind as she slid herself over the ledge with practiced ease, calloused fingers finding the foot holes she had dug out years ago. It took her no time at all to reach the broken tile of the alleyway, worn leather boots making little to no sound as she landed in a crouch.
Looking up, she squinted to see if Ja'harra was following behind. "Hurry, they circle around every five minutes. We have to be gone before then." They were still close to the coast and the salty air stung her eyes.
