Strelitzia was very nervous for what she was about to do. She'd overheard the conversation between Bynx and Cleo, how he refused to even go visit his father. Not that she blamed him. An injured and angered Ja'ule was almost enough to make her lose her nerve. But he deserved to at least be visited. They were still family despite the hardships. She gave a gentle knock on the door before entering, somewhat tentatively.
It took her a moment to find her voice. "Uncle, it's me. I'm coming in." She finally said. The room was very dimly lit. With only a single sconce burning on the wall. The rest of the illumination was left to the glow of the red moon which peeked through the curtains from his balcony. Even bedridden the king's figure was imposing.
Ja'ule lifted his head when he'd heard her voice, the warm toned shadows dancing across the right portion of his stone hard visage. He could feel her gaze upon him. "What did he offer you to betray your own family?"
