Strelitzia pushed out of the man's arms. They had been so close to being on their way home again. After she just told her little cousin they'd be safe again. She scowled at her own naivety.
The sound of an off and a body hitting the ground caught her attention. James lay face first on the ground.
He must have jumped in after them, but why? He could have stayed with Razmyr who was sure to come after them later. It wasn't likely that he'd let such valuable assets go. Afterall, he'd have no leverage on Ja'ule. Not that Strelitzia thought the king would think twice about her dying.
She gently grabbed him by the arm to help him up. Strelitzia frowned at him "You should have stayed behind."She muttered.
"And I have my duties." James said with a light-hearted smile.
