Chapter 55 - And The Rest

When Lauren and Sari made it to the last class, they were greatly surprised. There were one of each type of fantasy creature that is usually considered dark she could think of sitting in the stands. Her men were waiting for her at the door of the stadium. "Okay. So, these are the leaders of the other "dark" creatures of imagination. Some are originals. Others are just from make believe." Demeatral explained. "They would like to see you display you ability with your grandmother's whip. It hasn't been seen since she used it. After that they want to show you some of what they can do. It is also my duty to remind you that many of them will be looking for a link or bond of some sort."

"That's fine, as long as I don't get any challenges to fight or anything similar. This is an event of peace and greetings, no violence at all." Lauren decreed.

"We agree." They all exclaimed.

Lauren took out her whip and moved to the center of the stadium. Before she could begin, God came and sat in his box so he could watch as well. She smiled up at him then settled her nerves. Then she began. Just like the first time, she felt like she was possessed by for grandmother. The whip flowed and swayed with a rhythm that touched the souls of everyone around. It was beautiful. When she finished, the audience applauded and gave her a standing ovation.

"That was wonderful. The power that flows through you is so rich and pure." Cristus remarked.

"You are glorious." Gerald said. Lauren walked over to Gerald and gave him a hug and kiss. She bowed to Cristus and hugged the rest of her men. She sat between Gerald and Cartrell, with Tom and Antonus behind her, and Carlton in front of her. Cristus chose to sit in front of her with Carlton.

They watch the spectacles presented by the other races. There were fae doing magic tricks, chimera exchanging body parts, and Elementals putting on a great light show. Angels sang a choral praise to God and danced in praise to him as well. It was so much fun.

The scariest display was the demons and fallen angels. They put on a dramatic play called, THE VICAR, THE FOUR THOUSAND YEAR OLD DEMON AND THE CUP OF TEA. It was a dark comedy that showed how easy it was to get a human to turn from God and to stay unsaved. Even the vicars of the churches can be drawn from salvation. The skit ended with a fallen angel and demon wanting to accept God again. They found it hard to find a way. Everyone was afraid of them and would run away from them. Then one little boy stopped to listen to their plight and told them that all they needed to do was to accept Jesus as their savior and say it out loud and they would be saved. They accepted Jesus and said it out loud, then God came down and accepted them.

The demon then walked over to Lauren. "Hello. It is wonderful to meet you. I have been told you have a close relationship with the almighty god. I would like to know if what the boy in the play said is true for demons and fallen angels or is it just for humans. I, well, we want to be accepted back by God. We were never given a choice to stay in his service. A stronger demon bullied and threatened us into silence and when the attack happened we were rounded up along with the rest."

"Lauran looked over her shoulder and smiled at God. Then she replied, "I would like to believe that the all knowing God knew back then who was for him and who was against him. I also would like to hope that God has made a way for all of his creation to gain forgiveness. However, you should direct your question to God. I am also just one of his creations."

God heard the conversation and stepped up next to Lauren and said, "There is a different procedure in place for fallen angels and demons. Just like imaginary creatures have procedures. I will hear you but not now. I am here only to visit my keeper. We can talk tomorrow." The demon and fallen angel bowed and moved away.

"So, there is a way?" Lauren asked.

"Of course. I have to correct my mistakes somehow." God said with a smile.

"Right, Almighty God. You are said to make no mistakes."

"I know. Now I know enough to truly be God. I made man in my own image. My last creation was to be my masterpiece. But my desire to show them off, my pride, allowed Lucifer to bring a wrongness into it. I am infallible in the eyes of man because they don't know how to worship a being with faults. I am okay with that, but I also know the truth. I am alpha and omega, and that has been a very long time. I have grown so much."

"Okay. I am going to drop that subject. Anyway, there is a thought that there is a vampire interested in this realm."

"Yes, well, you have to be very careful. John doesn't usually leave the dark realm. HE SENDS HIS MINIONS. You do have a good help choice in Cristus. He is stronger than any of the other Vampires, as well as older. He is probably the only Non-associated Vampire out there, which means he can talk to any vampire group without there being a territory dispute. He is a lucky find. He doesn't usually take sides."

"That's thanks to Hoseph. He has been a great substitute teacher. By the way, how is Evandalyn?"

"She is doing wonderful. She has all of her memories and her timeline has been restored. It seems she just needs to forgive herself and realize she has had a great support system around her while she has been going through all of this." God gave Lauren a hug. "Well, I have to go. Keep up the good work."

Lauren hugged him back and then gave her attention back to her men and guests.
