On a very cold Winter day, Bakugou decided to pay a surprise visit to Izuku at his kingdom. He rode his bike all the way to the border and parked it by a cherry tree. He walked through and saw beautiful cherry blossoms falling onto different creatures. He started to walk to the castle and was given a bouquet of white roses by a vampire. "Sorry, it's just that no one has seen the prince leave his castle in a few nights. We're all just worried about him." The vampire said. A werewolf, werecat, and a werebunny ran up to the two. "We heard some glass breaking in the castle!" The werebunny said. "You need to come quick Prince Katsuki!" The werecat said, now dragging Katsuki by his arm with their tail.
Katsuki walked in and heard yelling. He saw Izuku and Tulip yelling at each other. Bakugou hid behind the corner and listened. "Do you realise how hard this is? You can't be king!" Tulip yelled. "I get I'm young but you have responsibilities in the Simple world. Someone needs to fill in for you!" Izuku replied, trying not to yell. "I'm fucking sorry, but someone as immature as you shouldn't be king!" Tulip explained. Izuku groaned and ran to his room, trying to hide the tears flowing from his eyes and down his cheeks.
Bakugou emerged from the corner he was binding behind and walked up to Tulip. "Why we're you yelling at him?" Bakugou asked. Tulip scoffed and turned away. Bakugou walked upstairs to Izuku's room. He opened the door but didn't see anyone in there. He walked through the hallways and heard noises coming from the room. He knocked on the door, the doorknob turned and the door opened. "Hey, Kacchan. What are you doing here?" Izuku asked, holding Orchid. "I just wanted to see you. What happened with you and Tulip?" Bakugou asked. Izuku sighed. "Tulip thinks that I can't be king. I know she wants to live a carefree life in the Simple world but she can't unless I become king." Bakugou looked at Iris, who was on the floor playing games with Lily. Bakugou put his head on Izuku's shoulder. "Are you okay?" Izuku asked. Bakugou nodded. Izuku kissed Bakugou's forehead and put Orchid down. He patted her head gently and smiled. Orchid sat down next to Iris, waiting patiently for the next round the start. "If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here." Izuku said. "Nothing's wrong with me. I'm fine. I'm worried about you." Bakugou said, putting a hand on Izuku's thigh. "Kacchan. Please stop. I don't need you to care for me. You shouldn't waste your time." Izuku said. "This isn't something small. You guys are fighting about something serious. I get I shouldn't get involved but I want to because I love and care about you." Bakugou said, cupping Izuku's face. Izuku smiled, letting his head rest in his lover's rough hand. Bakugou kissed his cheek. "Kacchan, why are you being so affectionate today?" Izuku asked. Bakugou smiled. "Just thought you might need it. Plus you look so cute." Izuku smiled, kissing Bakugou's neck. "You two are gross. There's children here." Lily said. Izuku laughed.
Izuku woke up the next morning and walked downstairs to the kitchen. He ignored Tulip and grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down at the table. "Izuku, talk to her." Lily whispered. Izuku sighed. "I can't do that. She's probably still mad at me for yesterday and doesn't even want to be near me." Izuku whispered back. Lily groaned. Bakugou walked in the room, yawning and rubbing his eyes, his hair a mess. Izuku chuckled once he saw him. Bakugou sat down near Izuku. "You're a mess Kacchan." Izuku laughed. Tulip glanced over to them, making sure she keeps mental notes of the two.
"Tulip, just talk to him. What he said yesterday was the truth and you know it. I get you think he's young but look at him, he can do this. You have to trust him." Rose said. Tulip sighed. "I know, I just want him to have a bit of freedom before he has the responsibility of being king. He's three Years younger than I was when i was crowned. He doesn't understand how hard it is." Tulip said, looking back over to her younger brother. "He took care of six kids since he was three, don't mention he also took care of all of us when mom died. He's got this." Rose said, comforting her sister. Tulip finally gave in and agreed to let him be king.
At around 11 o'clock, Tulip knocked on Izuku's door. He answered it and silently let her in. He sat on the bed and she sat next to him. "Izuku-" Tulip began. "Stop, it's fine I understand that I'm too young to be king so I'm not going to bring it up anymore." Izuku said, interrupting her. "Izuku, it's fine. You can be king. But, you have to be seventeen before you can be king, okay?" Tulip said, finishing her sentence. Izuku looked at her, shocked. "I- I can be king?" Izuku asked. Tulip nodded. "I didn't want you to be king before because you're still young. I was nineteen when I was crowned and I was scared. I don't want that for you." Tulip explained. Izuku nodded. "Tulip, I've been through a whole lot worse than that. I'll be fine." Izuku said, easing the blonde girl from her worries. Tulip smiled.
Izuku ran up to Bakugou an hour later and hugged him from behind. "I'm going to be king!" Izuku yelled excitedly. Bakugou smiled. "I'm so happy for you. Does that mean I'm going to be king to?" Bakugou asked. Izuku shook his head. "We'd have to get married first but even still the coronation would have to be after my seventeenth birthday. When do you want the wedding to be held?" Izuku asked. "June." Bakugou said. Izuku stared at him, shocked. "Like, this June? The June that's in a month?" Izuku asked, panicked. Bakugou nodded. "Is that okay with you?" He asked. Izuku thought for a second. "If we rushed flower and cake picking we could make that work. And I could change the suit designs a bit which would make it work. Yea this June is fine. We do still have to pick a venue though but I already know the perfect one near the border, it's expensive but it will work." Izuku quickly said. Bakugou smiled and kissed Izuku. They quickly agreed and started planning more things out for the wedding. Making and sending out new invitations have already been started by the youngest six siblings.
Izuku was about to run to his sisters but they already heard the entire conversation. Izuku chuckled and couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the day. Finding out he was going to be king and making his wedding plans with the help of his family made him happier than ever.
