GASP!

"Huff....huff...huff...." Ivan abruptly woke up after a few hours of sleep, he tried to open his eyes, but it was painful, a lot more painful than what he felt when he took on the wolf's claw swing on his chest. There were a few things he noticed in his body with his eyes closed; one, he wasn't hungry. Why? He didn't know, and he didn't remember. Two, he felt lighter, the same kind of feeling he would have when he was around the blood crystals. Three, though he was still in pain, it wasn't coming from his chest, where massive claw marks should be. And four, his fangs seemed longer, and his jaw strength had increased by a lot.

'No hostile beings are in the vicinity.' He muttered in his mind; somehow, he could tell, and he knew it was because of the strange "abilities" that were engraved into his mind while he slept.

He sat in a lotus position and began to "look" into his body with a strange trait that seemingly only Ivan possessed. And his trait was strange because he was able to learn about everything that happened in his body whenever he wanted. All he had to do was concentrate on his body, and he would "feel," "see," and "hear" everything that happened in it.

At first, he thought that it was normal for all humans, maybe a bit special, but not strange because of the other two traits he received from his parents, but after researching about it, he understood that it was only him; no one else had ever even heard anything or anyone do what he could. After learning about his "condition," he began to find information about the sounds that a human body produces, what the insides of the human body looked like, and though not very clearly, he began to learn about how the insides of a body feels by concentrating on his body while using meditation as an excuse.

"Huuu...." He exhaled deeply before diving into a state of complete concentration; this was also the trait he had used to manipulate mana in his body at the beginning.

GBL....GBLDOP!

With strange noises of something fleshy opening underwater, millions of eyes opened "in" his body, looking at every single blood cell cruising through his body. He began to see, hear, and feel the new changes in his body. There were small black coloured veins in his body now, through which "the magic power" or "the mana" was cruising very smoothly, and the muscles of the digestive organs seemed stronger, his muscles were stronger, his height had increased by a lot, his skeleton structure was sturdier, and some kind of strange power with a certain frequency cruised through each and every cell in his body. All in all, Ivan had somehow turned into a much better version of himself.

'Many strange... things are happening to me....' Ivan muttered inwardly.

And unbeknownst to Ivan, a sudden ripple shot out in the Unknown World's sky as if the ripple was in "search" of something and after the ripple cruised through the entire Unknown World, it disappeared without a trace.

'Nothing dangerous for now....' Ivan mumbled under his breath and slowly and carefully opened his eyes, glancing around to get the terrain info.

"!!!" His gaze then landed on the rotten dead wolf's body, and he shuddered when a flash of what had happened cruised through his mind, and he remembered that he had eaten that thing. Though he wanted to hurl, he couldn't because everything had already been absorbed into his body.

"Damn.... I guess I have to get used to this...." Ivan mumbled, and he froze when he remembered his family; he had forgotten about them entirely. Even though he had been reminding himself of them every day, at least at the end of the day, trying to remind himself of where he came from and where he actually belonged, he had still forgotten about them when it came down to his life, and though it may seem natural, he was disgusted with himself when he learned that he would have abandoned his family if his life was on the line with theirs.

"Fuck...." He cursed, raised his right hand, and

BAM!

He banged the ground in displeasure and rage directed at himself; a 4-metre-wide crater formed beneath him from the impact between his fist and the ground. "I don't deserve them," then, he abruptly heard a voice in his head, and a lonely tear rolled off from his left eye as if it were agreeing with the voice. He slowly stood up, wiped off the tear, and rushed towards the cave since there didn't seem to be any more wolves attacking him.

WHOOSH

"!!" His eyes opened wide in shock. He was shocked about two things. One was the fact that he was fast, very fast. And the other was due to the fact that the cave he resided in,

Had disappeared without a trace.

He slowly made his way to the spot where he had cupped his blazer and shirt to collect the droplets of water and noticed that only the walls and the ceiling had disappeared, because the ground was still in the same state as it was when he had rushed out in search of food. Many thoughts about "what he should do now" rushed through his mind, but not a single idea flashed in his mind, and he began to pace and look around in search of something that would give him a proper survival guarantee idea, but instead his gaze landed on the markings carved on the ground, which he couldn't quite see due to there being no light in the cave previously.

The carved markings were forming circles, quite a few of them, with many letters carved in and out of them, (AN: Image)

"What are those snake-like things? Words?"
