Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

Su Bai shook his head helplessly, thinking this man to be quite simple-minded.

"Wow!" Su Bai exclaimed as she beheld your exceptional sparrow: how swiftly it flew!"

"Go, go! What sparrow, that's an iron bird!"

"Fuck, it's clearly called Iron Beak!" You are illiterate!

The students gathered around and were filled with energy.

Su Bai's request was a bit baffling, so Yang Lejia explained sternly: "This ticket allows two people to enter; they want you to bring them both!"

Yang Lejia snapped, "Originally I was going to invite the fifth class, but now it's over!" With that statement, he slapped his forehead and grinned in frustration: "I'll let you pretend!"

Su Bai asked with a smile, "Haven't we been to the federal hunting grounds together, classmate Yang? Why don't we go together, just for some friendly banter on our way there?" Su Bai was willing to do anything for his friend - including running her car into something.

Su Bai snapped at Yang Lejia with wide eyes, "Don't think about the class flower of the fifth class - think of a way next time!"

"Okay," Yang Lejia enthusiastically agreed.

Li Gang nodded secretly; why hadn't he noticed his potential before now? With so much life experience under his belt, how could Li Gang have missed such an opportunity before?

Su Bai would surely mock him if he knew what his thoughts were. After all, those tinted glasses that you can't take off can certainly give away a ghost's identity!

Once the matter was finally settled, Li Gang restored her image as a cold-faced head teacher and welcomed students back into their classroom who still needed finishing up.

"Su Bai, I need to report your name to the training ground on Monday. Do you know how to get there?" Li Gang inquired.

Yang Lejia took a step forward, patted his chest, and said to the teacher, "Don't worry; I'll take Su Bai there."

This man is nothing but a drug addict with thick nerves!

Su Bai didn't hesitate. Their parents both graduated from the same school, and they had been classmates. Unfortunately, there had been an argument between the two of them which did not bode well for either party.

After three years of observation, Su Bai gained insight into his classmates' personalities.

Yang Lejia's words may be annoying, but that doesn't make him any less of a student; at least he has the courage to admit his errors - which is more than most of his classmates do.

Time seemed to fly by so quickly, and before I knew it, the school was over for another year.

After working part-time in the orchard for three years, Su Bai abruptly stopped going and felt uneasy for some time.

Reminded that the Phantom Butterfly had broken out of its cocoon, he sought out a park rest area to sit down and inspect the pet space.

The Phantom Butterfly is circling and flies inside, while the Iron Beak Sparrow lies dormant.

Su Bai was uncertain. "The evolution point for my pet, the Phantom Butterfly, was acquired when it was upgraded from its larva stage," she remembered, noting that pets could only gain that point by upgrading. So why wouldn't the butterfly appear?" Su Bai asked with some hesitation.

But the quickest and easiest solution is to simply glance at the data - and no longer hesitate to identify who needs extra support.

[(Name)]: Su Bai

[Current Level]: Black Iron Lower

[Talent]: Double Contract

[Battle Pet 1]: Iron Beak Sparrow

[Battle Pet 2]: Phantom Butterfly

[Evolution Point]: 1

Su Bai smirked. With this system in place, what else was left for him to worry about? With peace of mind at his side, what else could he possibly worry about?

Su Bai used an evolution point on a sleeping Ironbeak Sparrow to chart its progress.

"Ding, the evolution is complete; the bloodline of the Sky Steel Crow has been strengthened and our current progress stands at 50%."

The iron-beaked sparrow was aroused, looking around aimlessly as its size increased exponentially - now exceeding one meter five - until it could no longer stand atop Su Bai's shoulders.

"Ding, once your bloodline activation reaches 50%, you can receive a random Sky Steel Crow talent and sharp eyes (normal)."

Flying creatures often possess keen eyes, which can enhance their visual acuity.

Su Bai felt a pang of regret; it would have been wonderful if he could acquire some legendary talent.

The Ironbeak Sparrow's speed of epic talent nearly broke the speed of sound, while Phantom Dust made sure that no Phantom Butterfly could be found.

How terrible are mythical talent skills?

Su Bai was aware that his dreams of obtaining everything now were beyond his imagination, so he didn't have many plans in mind.

Su Bai heard someone shouting downstairs this morning before she left for work.

"Su Bai, where are your people?"

Su Bai almost choked to death while drinking porridge - why had Yang Le's family come?

I suddenly remembered that today is Monday and I must go to the training ground.

Su Bai didn't even stop to eat breakfast, instead running down to work.

Yang Lejia looked up and felt someone appear beside him; he was startled when it turned out to be Su Bai! "No," Yang Lejia snapped angrily as he realized who it was.

"Your pet, with the same virtues as yourself, is elusive."

Su Bai's physical quality continues to progress, enabling him to surpass all previous records with ease.

"Ride in the car; the training ground is a bit far."

It took more than an hour for the two athletes to reach their training ground.

Li Gang had already arrived with three other teachers and a few of his students.

People arrived one after another, and once everyone had gathered, a federal soldier with an intent face came over to address them.

"Hello everyone! My name is Tang Chengxuan. Please line up and enter the training ground soon."

"The beasts inside have been cleaned up; most are low-level or intermediate black iron creatures, though there are a few high-level and top-level ones in the deepest area."

"Everyone chooses the right area based on their individual strengths!"

"Your teachers will be working alongside you on activities," but be mindful."
