Stella's POV
"So, papa and Alessio are really that close?" I was surprised and questioned.
"Yeah, and their family is coming over tonight, and Alessio's mother is also a friend of mine," she remarked.
"Why didn't you tell it earlier, Mama?" I whined.
"Even so, what were you going to do? Stop worrying now. Refresh yourself. If you don't want your papa and brothers to see those bruises on your neck, make sure to cover them up "She chuckled and walked away.
I returned to my room, took a shower, and dressed a little better because Alessio's family was coming over.
I have no idea why I'm doing these. I'm not sure why I feel the urge to be attractive in front of him. He considers me to be nothing more than a friend. Indeed, that's correct. Were just friends. But getting ready to look good in front of our friends is typical. right? yeah.
I think I should put some distance between us. following the events of yesterday. I don't see him the same way anymore. I'm not sure if it's because of yesterday, but I have a new feeling towards him. Yet I should keep that emotion from developing.
We won't have much personal time because his family is coming over. I'll just grab Aroura and dash to my room. yep! That sounds like a plan.
I prepared myself and went downstairs to visit Mama. She turned to face me. "Well, it appears that someone is attempting to impress someone," she remarked.
"Oh my God, stop it, mama, and what will we do if Alessio's mother mentions out about the project I and Alessio were working on?" I was worried.
"Don't worry; I told her not to bring it up," she added, as the door burst open.
When I turned to face the entrance, I saw all of my brothers and papa walk in. "Hello, dear," Papa approached me and kissed me on the cheek. He then approached Mom and kissed her for far longer than was necessary. "Ewwww," my brothers and I grumbled.
"They're coming soon, and I expect Gabi, Fabio, and Stella to be good," Papa remarked, pointing to us three and making me pout.
"But papa, I always behave better from these two," I remarked, referring to Fabio and Gabi.
"Says the person who smashed the vase the last time guests came around." Fabio remarked this while crossing his arms.
"That was an accident," I explain, crossing my arms as well.
"Well, it didn't —" Gabi's sentence was cut short by the doorbell ringing.
I knew it was Alessio, but I couldn't bring myself to open the door.
"Go open the door, Gabi," I urged, making him frown.
"Noo, open the door, and who are you to command me?" He grinned. I was ready to say something when Mama yelled from the kitchen.
"Open the door, Stella!" Fabio and Gabi both smirked as Mom yelled from the kitchen.
I sighed and proceeded to open the door.
As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw Alessio's father, mother, and Aroura, who was in Alessio's arms.
Aroura's eyes met mine, and she smiled, exposing her two little fangs, and screamed, "Ella!".
