Chapter 41 - Chapter 41

Dozens of nautical miles outside the Baratie restaurant, a small warship approached.

On the deck of the warship, a radiant young officer grinned, "Sea restaurant? Men, sail that way, and let's go there for dinner today!"

"Alright, Lieutenant!" A marine sergeant next to him smiled and relayed orders to the other marine soldiers.

"Lieutenant, if we go there to eat, it will cost us..." The sergeant looked hesitant.

"Cost? What does it cost?" The lieutenant glanced at him and said, "We came here to eat, this is enough to give reputation to the Baratie restaurant, and spending money? You're not kidding me, are you?"

"Haha, what Lieutenant said is right. I wasn't thinking straight!" When the sergeant heard this, he burst out laughing.

"Hmmm!" The lieutenant nodded, looking proud.

In the sea restaurant, Ron accompanied the girls for dinner, occasionally commenting on the taste of the meal in front of him. "This fish has great taste, Kaya eat more; you are growing your body!"

Ron spoiled Kaya with a piece of fish meat.

"Thank you, Ron!" When Kaya saw this, her delicate little face was full of smiles, feeling that Brother Ron was too good to her.

On the side, Nami and Tashigi ignored it. Although they were sailing with Ron, they had not yet fallen under Ron's spell. They only thought that Kaya was being too naive.

Makino, on the other hand, kept her head down, eating in silence. Occasionally, when she looked up, there was a hint of melancholy in her eyes, evidently not fully recovered from Ron's previous conversation with her.

Clack, clack, clack...

Heavy footsteps echoed, capturing Ron and the girls' attention. They turned to see a navy officer entering.

"Hello, guests! Do you need a table?" Sanji, the chef and waiter, promptly approached and asked without hesitation.

"Hmmm!" The lieutenant replied calmly, "Arrange a place for us. We have a larger group, so clear out everyone else. We want a private venue!"

"Huh?" Sanji suddenly looked up, his eyes freezing momentarily before he smiled. "Even though you're the Navy, being so domineering isn't very commendable. It's not our restaurant's practice to kick out other guests. Everyone is here to dine, and rushing people is not something we do."

"How?" The lieutenant flashed a strange smile. "Is my word not enough?"

"Lieutenant, allow me!" The sergeant next to the lieutenant stepped forward, addressing Sanji. "Before you stands a navy marine lieutenant. Do you not want to prepare a private space? Otherwise, the warships outside might start bombarding your restaurant!"

"How can the Navy threaten me?" Sanji, not one to be easily intimidated, started to get a little angry.

"Everyone, please calm down!" At this moment, Zeff, hearing the commotion approached, he exchanged a glance with Sanji and then addressed the situation with a smile. "Esteemed guests, others are also paying customers. Isn't it inappropriate to forcefully expel them? Though your group is sizable, we have enough seating in the restaurant. Why cause unnecessary trouble?"

"Huh? Are you looking down on the Navy?" The sergeant undeterred, retorted "We told you to remove the people, yet you stall. Do you wish to face the consequences?!"

"This..." Zeff's mouth twitched, finding it difficult to respond. He couldn't really evict people as suggested; it would harm future business. Who would dare come if such actions became known?

"Marines, how arrogant!" Ron shook his head, sighing. Witnessing the overbearing behavior of a mere East Blue Marine Lieutenant, Ron couldn't help but express disdain. Even with his strength, he never displayed such arrogance. These people were beyond arrogant.

The girls beside Ron shared the same sentiment. The Marine's haughty demeanor was truly unexpected, and Tashigi lowered her head in embarrassment; some members of the Navy were undoubtedly too arrogant.

"Huh!?" The proud lieutenant, irritated by Ron's words, was displeased. He was trying to show off, and now this interruption felt like a hit to his pride.

"Boy, who do you think you are? Disrespectful to the Navy? Do you want to die?" The lieutenant glared at Ron, and the navy soldiers behind him raised their Rifles, aiming at Ron's group.

"Daring to point a gun at me? Do you really not understand the concept of facing death?" Ron looked up indifferently at the line of navy officers. He had no intention of making a move. Dealing with these minions personally would be inappropriate, akin to using a sledgehammer to crack an egg.

"Ron..." Tashigi looked at Ron with a mix of eagerness and apprehension. As a Marine herself, she didn't want to see Ron clash with the Navy. Unfortunately, the Navy in front of her seemed utterly blind, even to Ron, a notorious East Blue pirate with a bounty of 100 million Baileys.

Guys this chapter took a lot of work to translate because a lot of BS was in it, I had to literally make my own dialogues so it could seamlessly integrate with the other texts, so tell me what you think.

I think I'm gonna upload an auxiliary chapter with all the words/names/lines I had to translate. if anyone reads One Piece MTL's you should know the types of mistakes made like: Darth Vader is actually Tashigi's name in MTL
