Chapter 106 - Chapter 104

MUST READ... PLEASE!!!

Okay guys, I have some bad news and some slightly good news. The bad news is that I am not continuing this Fanfic anymore, I have my big final exams starting after next week, and I currently still have some assignments to do, so I cannot find time to translate as it takes a lot of effort and time which I don't have, I am sorry for doing this.

But onto the good news, I am in the process of creating my very own Novel/Fanfic but this time, I'm doing it as a potential career, Because after these exams there's no free time for me anymore, it's finding a job to work time, so I posted what I would make the first chapter of the novel

The Novel/Fanfic is called "IMIS: I Can't Run Out"

I must also inform you that my Patreon account will be changed so that I can start fresh. When the time comes and if you are willing after reading my OG book you'll know what you want to do.

Once again I apologize for dropping this translated fic, I'm posting all the chapters that my Patreon members would have been privy to. I hope you all enjoy your journey reading. OHH! And please check out the book and answer the question I put at the bottom of the first chapter.

...

"Are you really Ron, captain of the Sword and Rose Pirates?" Koza looked at the boy in front of him and asked, "Why are you intervening in Alabasta's affairs?"

Ron's eyes were calm as he looked at the young man in front of him. Koza, who had a good relationship with Vivi as a child, later turned against the royal family, blaming them for the people's suffering. However, he didn't realize that this suffering was all orchestrated by Crocodile. He was hell bent on overthrowing the Kingdom of Alabasta, unaware that Crocodile was manipulating the events from behind the scenes.

Ron shook his head and smiled, "You're pathetic! Haven't you heard the news? Everything you're doing is just playing into someone else's hands. Pity, lamentable, and pathetic!"

"Nonsense!" Koza retorted angrily. "I am doing this for the people. The royal family of Alabasta has done nothing. They should be overthrown. Only by overthrowing them can the people have a chance at a good life! Do you dare stand in my way? It's futile, we have numbers on our side, you alone can't change anything!" (T/N: When he cleaves the island in half, say that again)

"Oh, then let's see!" Ron sneered. "I alone is enough to stop you all!"

"Don't be foolish. I'll go back now and command the army to continue the siege. You're just a hindrance!" Koza attempted to leave.

"Are you sure about that?" Ron's tone was calm. "I called you here to talk, to offer you help. If you don't appreciate it, that would be a shame."

"Help me? How amusing!" Koza laughed derisively. "A pirate with a bounty of 500 million Beli fighting for the royal family of Alabasta. I can't believe the world's greatest swordsman has stooped so low!"

"Because Princess Vivi is part of my crew, I will always fight for her," Ron said calmly.

"Vivi..." Koza's expression darkened. He had once held affection for the beautiful girl, but he had since turned against her, believing he was fighting for the people's rights. He wanted to overthrow Alabasta's royal family, and thus, they became adversaries.

Ron remained silent, observing Koza.

At that moment, Ron sensed something amiss and activated his Observation Haki, detecting a trace of deception.

"Crocodile, can't sit idly by, can you?" Ron smiled knowingly.

Outside the city of Alabasta, within the rebel army's ranks, several figures stood on a sand dune, led by a man in a coat with a cold expression, a cigar hanging from his mouth.

Behind him stood several individuals, all members of the Baroque Works.

"Chief, this situation cannot continue. Ron is communicating with Koza..." a dark-haired woman spoke up.

"Indeed, if they strike a deal, our plan will be jeopardized!" a burly man added gravely. "Chief, what shall we do?"

"Oh, aren't we the infiltrators on both sides?" Crocodile smirked coldly. "Let them proceed. Tell me, what do you think will happen to the rebels if Koza gets injured during his meeting with Ron?"

"Hahaha!" The dark-haired woman laughed suddenly. "Need I say? They'll be furious. Attempts to mediate will be futile, leading to a lose-lose situation. Then, we can capitalize on the chaos! Your foresight is admirable, Chief!"

Crocodile waved his hand dismissively. "Proceed with the plan."

The dark-haired woman took out a Den Den Mushi and began coordinating the operation with the spies.

Simultaneously, some guards atop the city walls, as well as certain rebels, received orders from Crocodile. Their lips curled into cold smiles.

Bang!

Bang bang bang...

Gunshots shattered the city's peace.

"Who fired that?!" King Cobra of Alabasta heard the gunfire from the city walls, his expression turning to fury. "Quickly, apprehend the shooters!"

"As you command, Your Majesty!" A group of guards swiftly moved to capture the perpetrators.

"Gahaha, Alabasta is doomed. Lord Crocodile will soon be king!" The captured guards laughed fanatically, as though brainwashed.

"Damn, their Crocodile's spies!" One of the generals seethed with anger.

"Detain them immediately!" Cobra ordered, before focusing his attention back outside the city wall, the true focal point of the crisis.

As the traitor appeared, royal guards dealt with them swiftly. However, the traitors among the rebels below were not so easily caught.

But there was Ron.

With a wave of his hand, Ron swung his sword multiple times, swiftly dispatching dozens of traitorous rebels who had opened fire. Despite the distance, Ron's swordsmanship was precise, and the traitors fell swiftly.

Ron's swift action threw the rebels into disarray, with some mistaking his intent and preparing to attack him and Koza.

Observing Ron's calm demeanor from across the field, Koza sensed something was amiss. He quickly intervened, shouting commands to quell the chaos among the rebels.

"Are you telling the truth?" Koza asked tentatively. He wasn't a fool; he had risen to the position of rebel leader

 through intelligence and strategy.

Ron nodded. "Those who attacked, including the guards who fired upon Alabasta's walls, were all Crocodile's spies. They didn't want us to negotiate peace. But unfortunately, you were kept in the dark. Otherwise, do you think I would waste time talking to you? Frankly, I could easily kill you, even amidst a thousand men."

With his current strength, Ron's words were not an exaggeration.

"I... believe you," Koza hesitated. "But I still question whether the royal family bears no responsibility for Alabasta's suffering. I need to hear King Cobra's explanation for myself."

"No problem," Ron agreed. "Princess Vivi risked her life to uncover the truth within Crocodile's Baroque Works. But unfortunately, due to her trust in you, you've hindered her efforts. You'll explain everything to her in person."

Ron didn't expect Vivi and Koza to reconcile immediately. Koza, the one who led the charge against the royal family, could not be easily trusted, regardless of his reasons.

Vivi, with her compassionate nature, might forgive Koza for the people's sake, but she would harbor little trust in him.

How could someone who had been fooled by Crocodile continue to be trusted? (T/N: IDK)

Ron gestured towards the city walls, where Princess Vivi was waiting eagerly. "It's settled. Ron has thwarted the rebel's attack. King Cobra, we can finally have a proper discussion."

"Excellent, excellent!" Cobra exclaimed. He was relieved. While Crocodile posed a threat as one of the Shichibukai, his main concern was the rebel forces, which numbered in the millions when counting civilians.

"With dialogue, I'm confident we can reach an understanding with Koza," Cobra declared, arranging for a meeting place at the city gates.

Thus, a crisis that had gripped Alabasta was resolved with ease, thanks to Ron's intervention.

However, Crocodile's expression, not far away, was anything but pleased.

"Fuck!!" Crocodile seethed. "That piece of shit dares to disrupt my plans. Let's go, everyone. It's time to meet this so-called new world's greatest swordsman, isn't it?"

"It would be an honor!"
