Apparently we still have a week before the princess's entourage.
So I can still have my dates with a certain Crimson Demon. Just yesterday Megumin managed to create a double rainbow after casting a full power explosions five times in a row. She was quite ecstatic after hearing this fact and just couldn't wait until the ring finish recharging.
Today, we're still waiting for the ring to recharge so we decided to take it slow and walk around the towns. Usually we would bring Liz with us, but apparently the dragon teleported back to the Crimson Demon Village to play with Komekko and Hoost.
"Kazuma, do you have any plans?" Megumin asked nonchalantly.
"I'm planning to visit Wiz today,"
"No, I mean for the capital,"
"I think I'll give Darkness a break and not do anything funny there,"
Soon enough, we made it in front of Wiz's shop. It's actually the magic store branch of Wiz's shop. After my investment with Hyoizaburo's creation and Vanir's meddling, Wiz's magic store became so big that we need to make new branches to compensate the customers.
In this branch, Wiz sells useful items for adventurers, but no weapons or magic accessories. It still has some of Wiz's useless items so it's not as crowded as the other branch. Both Wiz and Vanir usually hangs around this place so it's more of a meeting spot for us.
The door bell ringed as we stepped into the shop. A beautiful brown haired woman wearing an apron over a witch's robe welcomed us warmly.
"Ara, Kazuma san, Megumin san, welcome,"
"Hello Wiz, is Vanir around?"
"Vanir san… Umm, he's just left an hour ago…"
"Ah, okay, thanks Wiz,"
Megumin is already looking at all the different items sold in this shop. She grabbed a flashlight in slight curiosity and turned it on. A bright light shone out of it before she quickly turned it off again, though she has that look of amazement.
"Ne, Kazuma, is this powered by lightning?" Megumin asked.
"You mean electricity? No, it uses manatite stone and glowstone,"
The Crimson Demon put the flashlight back to the shelves and simply stared at all the items in amazement.
"Does everyone knows you've designed all this?"
An idea struck to me the moment she said that.
"Remember when you said I have no plan for the capital? Forget that, we're going to advertise the living hell out of my products!"
With that, we started rummaging through the shop, looking at all sorts of things we're going to advertise in the capital. Megumin, who has seen through my memory, has some idea on what to pick and what not to.
"The simplest things are sometimes the best," I said while grabbing a pen, a marker, a pencil, an eraser, and more convenient writing utensils. "What do you got Megumin?"
"Flashlight, lighter, kotatsu, fan, mini fridge," Megumin listed off the items that's piling up near her feet.
"Ano, Kazuma san, how about this?" Wiz came running towards us from the backroom holding a… grenade… by the safety pin. "Oh, sorry, I dropped it,"
I grabbed the grenade, Megumin's staff, ran outside, throw the grenade to the air, before batting it away to the heavens.
The Grenade exploded in midair, hopefully far enough as to not hurt anyone with its shrapnel. I returned back to the store and gave Wiz a pained smile.
"Ano, Wiz,"
"Yes?"
"Do you mind if I check your storage room for a bit?"

In the end we have ourselves two boxes full of inventions to show off at the capital. We told Wiz to keep it in her shop for us to pick up later while we visit Vanir and Lady Paradox in a brand new cafe in Axel City.
The Cafe is large, it shamelessly copied an outdoor and indoor cafe scheme from my world. Judging by the round white tables and the deserts piling up on top of it, I can only assume that Paradox is someone of European descent or spends more time around there.
On one of the bigger tables, sat Lady Paradox and Vanir. They seem to be in a lighthearted conversation as the former enjoys the deserts in front of the latter. There are two empty seats on their tables so I can only assume they've been waiting for us.
"Good afternoon Lady Paradox, Vanir," I greeted them.
"Ah, the Crimson Demon who is frustrated because she still cannot have her honeymoon because of people's expectations on her and the adventurer who's more than a little impatient for moi to produce his more perverted inventions, please, sit down,"
Goddammit… You just have to say that in front of my wife didn't you?
"Really Kazuma?" Megumin asked while sitting down on one of the empty seat.
"Oh, trust me, you'll love it," I told her before on the seat facing her. I turned towards Paradox and saw her still eating her food. Something tells me she doesn't want to be interrupted so I turned back to Vanir.
"By the way, Vanir, you think it's wise to leave a box of grenade in Wiz's store?"
Vanir quickly stood up from his seat and bowed at me. "I thank thee for the warning, Moi shall leave to save the shop now!" he exclaimed before spinning on the spot and teleporting away.
Paradox finally swallowed her sweets and sipped a cup of coffee. "Well, Kazuma, Megumin, it's time for the Kingdom Arc," she said. "And I have a brand new mission for the two of you,"
I cringed a little after hearing that.
"Is it going to be harder than the last mission?"
"In a way, yes, it's quite similar but at the same time, not really,"
Suddenly, I remembered something from a long time ago. Paradox has already told me something about 'Kingdom Arc', during our conversation when she summoned me and Megumin during our dream.
"It's Eris isn't it?"
Paradox grinned and nodded. "As expected of my champion! Well, since you understand we can talk about other things such as…"
"No! We don't understand, what about Eris?"
The goddess narrowed her eyes and gestured at where Vanir sat.
"You do know Eris turns into a bloodthirsty berserker at the sight of undeads and demons right? Don't you think it's going to be a problem in the long run? I mean, you couldn't even invite her to your wedding!"
"Then, what does it have to do with the Kingdom Arc? Should we invite Chris to come with us?"
"Nope, she's already in the kingdom. It's obvious who she is when you get there, just make sure you do something about her hatred for demons and undeads, okay?"
"Right…"
