"M-ms Anderson, y-you're being c-called to the A-alpha's Office."
An omega said cautiously, afraid to make the young lady who seems like taking a nap at a tree branch, angry for being disturbed.
A 17-years-old young lady with a white hair lazily look at the omega and then jumped down from the tree where she was previously sleeping, and walked towards the Alpha's office.
As soon as her foot stepped inside the office, the people—rather, the wolves, who's having a meeting, immediately stop talking and look at her.
"Vie! Sit down, sit down. We were just talking about you, glad that you came as early as possible." Alpha Howard said as he gestured the chair beside him to the newly arrived young lady named Vie or Genevieve.
As soon as Genevieve sat down, Alpha Howard said, "Okay, so since all of us are here now already. I want all of you to know that soon, i will be announcing my son, Ezekhiel as the new alpha of this pack."
When Alpha Howard finished announcing such news, the wolves in the meeting room all have a mixed emotions.
One of the mid-ranking wolves said, "But isn't it too early for him to be an alpha? He probably doesn't even know what being an alpha is."
All the wolves in the meeting room, except for Genevieve, stares intently at the mid-ranking wolf who spoke just now. The mid-ranking wolf, also known as Jacob, sweat profusely.
"A-ah, wh-what i m-mean is h-he's t-too y-young to be an a-alpha. Y-yes, t-that's what i w-want to s-say." Jacob said, afraid by the sudden drop of the meeting room's temperature.
"You might as well watch that mouth of yours carefully. Who knows, that snaky-little tongue of yours might be gone one day." Alpha Howard said using his Alpha voice, as the temperature in the room becomes heavy.
Jason sweat purposely and sigh when they go back to the topic that they're about to discuss.
"So, as i said, I'll appoint my son, Ezekhiel to be the next Alpha of our pack. It's time for him to rule. He'll also come back with his companions 3 days from now so be prepared." Alpha Howard said.
All of the wolves in the room immediately agree. Alpha Howard's heir, Ezekhiel Howard, has been training in the human world as to how to control his wolf and how to blend with humans together with his other companions.
His companions, the Beta's son, Gamma's son and Delta's son, are also with him.
It's been a long time since the Alpha sent those heirs to school. And everytime they finished the four years, they will immediately be transferred to another school so that they can widen their knowledge.
"You may all go back now."
After a few minutes of discussing, Alpha Howard then commanded them to leave.
When Genevieve was about to leave, Alpha Howard suddenly said, "Vie, can i talk to you for a few minutes?"
Genevieve nodded and then go back to where she was previously seated.
"How are you, Vie?" Alpha Howard asked to start the conversation, Genevieve rarely initiate a conversation so he definitely have to do it.
"Nothing's new, still fine." Genevieve replied casually as she look at her Alpha. Although she isn't a werewolf, she treated him like an Alpha.
Alpha Howard sighed helplessly as he heard this young woman's answer.
"I heard that you've been training hard a lot again like before. Vie, you shouldn't make yourself suffer. I know you want to avenge your parents but, you don't need to punish yourself by doing this."
Alpha Howard said as he remembered the past. The Beta of this pack, Ethan, as well as the uncle of Genevieve, found Genevieve on the forest, full of blood and slowly walking towards them.
Beta Ethan asked Genevieve about what happened to her and Genevieve then tell him about what really happened emotionlessly.
After Beta Ethan heard what his niece said about his sister, mixed emotions instantly surged. Hatred, Sadness, Grief and Guilt.
But even though he wanted to rushed over there and check the corpse of his sister and brother-in-law, he couldn't.
He knew that if he go there and the hunters are still there, he might get caught and his sister and brother-in-law's sacrifice will go to waste. So he first take care of his niece and reported the entire thing to his alpha.
"Don't mind me, Alpha. Everything's fine."Genevieve said and then stare intently in his eyes
To others, it might be disrespectful to stare at your Alpha's eyes but Alpha Howard are obviously already used to being stared directly in the eyes by Genevieve, so he change the topic.
"Ehem. So, the real reason that I've asked you to stay is because you have a mission."
Alpha Howard stopped for a while and look at Genevieve, seeing that she have no reaction other than being emotionless, he continue what he was about to say.
"The Red Moon Pack just send some yellow report. There's a lot of wolves missing and being killed near their border. They suspect that it might be caused by the wolves hunter by how brutal the wolves died. The report also stated that the shewolves who are mateless were raped whenever they're captured and some of them still haven't come back yet. While male wolves were killed brutally like having their neck cut off of their shoulder, their intestine out, their eyeballs and all."
Alpha Howard said to Genevieve as she listens intently thinking about what those hunters wanna do especially to those shewolves that they've captured.
After thinking for a while, Genevieve gives up, saying to herself that she'll soon find out when she goes in the Red Moon Pack.
"So, i want you to go to Red Moon Pack now or tomorrow to check on the situation and their border there and to know whether it really is the hunters or not. And also to fully understand the situation in there."
