"Man, I want her to clean my room too." Another boy said while agreeing to the boy next to him. Good thing is that, he haven't seen Ichika's room before Fuutarou arrived. Only a god would know how she'd clean that wasteland of a room.

"Enough already! You don't need to chop any more!" A guy said to Yotsuba as he looked at the pile of wood she chopped. It wasn't just many, the amount is a lot. Like someone who would prepare for winter.

"...Ah." Fuutarou said as he looked at the commotion and while pinching the bridge of his nose. He walked in front of the stove and sat down. He noticed Maeda beside and called out to him.
"Maeda, how are you doing?" Fuutarou asked as he checked up on the rice.
"Ah, Fuutarou? I'm doing fine." He said and quickly followed up, " Things been going well with Ichi- Nakano-san, right?"
"Yeah." Fuutarou replied as he thought back to what happened a few days ago before the camping trip.
- Flashback Start -
It was back then before the Camping trip. Ichika was called by a classmate to the classroom. When Ichika entered the classroom, she was greeted by a student standing where the teacher sits at class hours. The boy started to open his mouth but closed it. He looked down and mustered his courage and finally talked to Ichika.
"Na...Nakano-san, thanks for coming." The boy said as he looked at Ichika.
"Huh? Umm... Where's the rest of the class?" Ichika asked.
"Sorry, that was a lie to get you to come here." The boy answered.
"What did you want with me?"
The boy's sweat dropped and told her, "Please dance at the campfire with me!"
Silence engulfed the room but was quickly broken as Ichika spoke.
Fuutarou who was following Ichika heard this, glanced at her from a corner.
"What?" Ichika asked, "With me? Why?"
"Because... I.... Like you." The guy said.
"Thank you but I already have someone I like." Ichika said tried to walk away but she was pulled by the guy back to her place. Fastest rejection ever, am I right?
"I don't believe it, tell me his name then!" The guy said as he went close to Ichika.
"Wha?" Ichika exclaimed and found his actions, overbearing, "I'm not going to tell-"
"Ichika? There you are. I was getting worried you won't attend of study session." Fuutarou said as he went close to them.
Both Ichika and the guy looked at Fuutarou.
"Come on, I was looking for you, you know?" Fuutarou grabbed her hand and pulled her.
"Fuutarou-kun..." Ichika looked at Fuutarou and let herself be pulled by her.
"The hell do you think you're doing popping up all of a sudden?" The guy said as he grit his teeth and came close to Fuutarou, "Who the hell are you? The hell do you think you are calling Nakano-san by her first name? The hell... I... I wonder if I can call her by her first name."
"Haah? Didn't she tell you she already has someone she like? Get lost!" Fuutarou got pissed that his old delinquent attitude that he hid away came out.
The guy was shocked and backed away, " I-I just want to dance with I-Nakano-san! T-This is none of your business!"
"Oh yeah? Wanna go?" Fuutarou said as he stared at the guy.
"P-Please calm down!" Ichika stuttered as she was surprised at Fuutarou's attitude change. She hasn't seen that attitude of his since they were children.
"Ichi... Nakano-san I'll throw this guy out, so please wait here for a bit!" The guy said and faced Fuutarou, "Get the hell out!"
"He... He's the one I said I like!" Ichika exclaimed as she pulled Fuutarou's arm and hugged it.
"He... He is?" The guy said as he looked at Fuutarou and Ichika. They do make a good couple but he just doesn't believe that, "Don't lie!"
"I'm not!" Ichika refuted his statement.
"Then prove it!" The guy said. Little did the guy know, he will get the hardest rejection that the Author prepared.
Ichika grabbed Fuutarou's collar and pulled him. Once near, Ichika kissed Fuutarou on the lips. As Fuutarou and Ichika had their second kiss, time again stopped. Fuutarou wrapped his hands on her back while Ichika put her hands on his neck. Enjoying the feeling, the two disregarded their surroundings.
The guy looked away from both of them and waited for the kiss to end.
Fuutarou and Ichika parted their lips and opened their eyes. Fuutarou smiled at Ichika who did the same. They were about to go for a second kiss but the guy who was with them clapped his hand to get their attention.
"Damn, I didn't know you two were like that!" The guy said, "I wanted to have a girlfriend by the field trip, but I guess I'll be going alone!"
Fuutarou and Ichika looked at each other and then looked at the guy.
The guy, after his statement, told Fuutarou something.
"Don't cause any more trouble for her, you get me? Oh and the name's Maeda, Kazuhiko Maeda by the way." The guy, Maeda said to Fuutarou.
"Uesugi Fuutarou and she's causing me more trouble that you think." Fuutarou replied but Ichika grabbed him by the arm.
"What are you talking about Fuutarou-kun? Let's go." She said and led Fuutarou to the library, where he and the Quints will study.

Fuutarou woke up from his daydream and heard Maeda complaining about not having a girlfriend.
"Man, I haven't been able to find a partner for the folk dance after Nakano-san rejected me. Man you've got it good being able to dance with Nakano-san! It's no surprise people are afraid of me though since I've always been into fights, but even I want..."
'This is very depressing, can the curry hurry up and be done already.' Fuutarou thought to himself as he looked into a direction where a commotion is brewing.
"Why did you guys burn the rice!?" The girl with ribbons shouted and pointed at the guy, "I bet you guys were goofing off and didn't keep an eye on the rice, huh!?"
"N-No we didn't! And plus it was only a little burnt so it's still edible!" The guy stuttered as he refuted what she said
"But we made the most amazing curry ever!"
"This sort of thing would happen to anyone who hasn't done it before!" The guy shouted at the girl with ribbons to which was responded by,
"Wha-" The girl with ribbons said with disbelief and continued, "What should we do, Nino?"
"We'll handle this by ourselves. So could you guys go check up on the curry?" Nino smiles but her eyes aren't making the guy who was shouting earlier, scared.
"S-Sure..." The guy said and went with the other boys to check up on the curry.
"Nino's pretty pissed." Fuutarou said as a grin forms on his mouth.
"Really?" Maeda said and continued, "As I was saying, how do I go about getting a girlfriend...?"
"Why don't you just go with the flow?" Fuutarou said while looking at Maeda. This got Maeda thinking and was about to speak when Yotsuba called out to Fuutarou
"Uesugi-san, I'll move the for the test of courage for you." Yotsuba said while carrying the boxes and her boobs lays on it.
"Yotsuba, aren't you in charge of the bonfire?" Fuutarou looked at Yotsuba.
"Yep! But I figured this would be too much for you to handle by yourself so I talked to my classmates about it." Yotsuba said as she smiles at Fuutarou.
"Thank you, Yotsuba." Fuutarou stood up, "Alright, Maeda. Take care of the rice for my team."
"Hah? Where do you get off ordering me around!? And I ain't finished talking by the wa-"
"Participation in the test of courage is voluntary. So try inviting the girls in your class. But you better not chicken out because I'm gonna go all out." Fuutarou said as a mischievous smirk forms on his mouth.

The girl grabbed Maeda and pulled him with her away.

"Of course I am." Fuutarou replied as he looked at the sky, free of clouds, "Let's make this a field trip without regrets!"
"Uwoooooh!" Yotsuba agreed with Fuutarou, "Ah! The next group is here!"
Fuutarou prepared to jump to scare the pair who will be coming at their direction. Once they were close enough, Fuutarou and Yotsuba jumped.
"I'm gonna get ya!!"
"Yer gonna get eaten!!"
"Uwaaaaahhh! I can't take this anymore!" Itsuki was going to run away but she was grabbed by Ichika.
"Oh? It's Fuutarou-kun and Yotsuba." Ichika said as she looked at the two.
"Ichika, Itsuki!" Yotsuba greeted the two
"Oh great, only one got scared because the other already knew everything." Fuutarou spoke with a monotone voice.
"Waah!." Ichika apologized, "I was really scared you know~"
"Yeah, thanks for playing along."
"But it was really scary you kn-"
"Stop lying."
"Mou! Stop flirting!" Itsuki said as she recovered from the scare she had earlier.
Fuutarou and Ichika laughed at this and after that, Fuutarou gave them directions towards the right path. The two left and then a new group came. This time, Fuutarou would give them the scare of their life.
