Shert come to oneself in a jail. He lay on a straw floor. His butt was sore from a bullet wound.
Three people were sitting in the corner playing dice and drinking beer.
"Beer!" he groaned.
"What is your bet?"
"My life!"
They rolled the dice, Shert won, they threw him a can. He drank it greedily.
The game were continuing. Soon the chief of the prison joined them.
Shert was lucky. He won:
- whip, shackles and other prison rubbish
- chief's harem
- and the prison itself
Soon a lorry with military police and a colonel drove up to the prison.
"This is a private property, trespassing is prohibited!" Shert shouted from the window.
"Shert! Let's play, you'll bet your life!" The colonel called on to him.
"What will your bet?" Shert demanded.
"Iraq!" the answer was.
