Soon the one hour was up and the contestants were called to the stage once more to combat. Unfortunately, the third-place and fourth-place battles would not be taking place as both contestants could not continue to battle.
Besides, they were both from the same Academy, and Li Bai Tin was still been thawed out. The process involved gently expelling the Ying frost energy slowly in order not to cause any damage to his nerves and to prevent his dantian from collapsing as it had been frozen and shrunk severely.
The elders were quite careful and decided it was best to forfeit the fight. One contestant was frozen and the other had overdrawn on his strength and had to be carried back powerless. What was more vexing was that both had given a good showing from the beginning of the tournament until the finals.
They had defeated a lot of opponents and had lost very few fights all along. Just for them to come into the finals and be done in by silly mistakes. One misjudged his opponent and the other allowed fear to overcome his rationality and made a total fool of himself.
Their Heavens Sage Academy had the highest probability of winning the championship as they had two contestants in the finals. At least second place shouldn't have eluded them. Yet reality turns out to be very different from their wildest imaginations.

How come none of your contestants are in the Championship battle." The leading Elder of Fu Bai's convoy finally had the chance to gloat over Elder Zu and went all out.

"This was decided due to their merits in the previous fights" He paused and turned to the rest of the contestants and gestured for them to move to the center of the stage.
He said, " Are you ready to fight? They both nodded and cupped their hands in front of them while bowing towards the Elder. After the confirmation, the Elder rose into the air above the Arena once more and addressed the spectators.
" Distinguished guest this is the final duel of the Black Dragon Tournament. The fight to determine the ultimate champion of the Xantian Martial force realm leader board and to set the king of the Xantian realm cultivators for the next five years.
There was a loud cheer from the spectators, " Mai Lin Lin of the White Lotus country shall battle with Zi Longxie from The Royal Academy. The Elder supervising announced.
"Let the combat begin" He declared and focused on the Arena. This is his final call, after this duel, there would be no more battle and his duty would have come to an end. He didn't want to miss any moment because both contestants could be very fast.
the spectators who were cheering calmed down and concentrated on the Arena. This would be the most exciting fight of the whole tournament. This kid would give them all to obtain the champion title. They have come this far through sweat and pain.
Mai Lin Lin from the beginning of the tournament had lost only one battle, most of her battles were quite wonderful to watch. She efficiently and quickly disposed of most of her opponents. She was by far the strongest female cultivator and truly deserves to be in the finals.
Then the opponent's resume was even more dazzling. Not only had he not lost any combats but he had defeated them whilst still in the peak level of the spirit martial force realm. He had defeated two peak mid-level Xantian Martial force realm cultivators to get to this final.
Everybody hopes he wins the championship as his semi-final fight proved to be the toughest battle in the tournament yet, He does deserve to be the champion. This creator's legends might as well add another legend. Should he win, he would be the youngest Xantian Martial force realm cultivator and the youngest Xantian Martial force realm leader King in the past hundred thousand years.
The contestants faced off on the stage looking calm and gathering momentum. Both sword qi and sword intent could be seen swirling behind them. They calmly stare at each other trying to guess the other's move. Their flying swords were in the air vibrating from the energy and sword qi injected into them.
Their Arena was quiet and the atmosphere was taut like an overstretched Zither
string. They stood still facing each other as their sword intent covering their bodies began to solidify. They both have very deep foundations. To cultivate sword intent until it can solidify in a crystalline form was no mean feat. Yet both of them were able to manifest this phenomenon.
One could feel slight electric and cold energy waves in the air as their aura clashed on stage and flowed over. Just as no one could take it any more both participants shot out at the same time.
There was a howling ice storm and a lightning storm clashing mid-air whilst fly swords swooped and clashed causing fire sparks to fly about the stage. It was everything the spectators had imagined and more. Many people were shocked by the level of power on display on that stage between two Peak mid-level Xantian Martial force realm cultivators.
Some low-level Sword Spirit Realm cultivators even felt threatened by the aura of the two on the Arena duelling. Which means they might be defeated should they have to fight any of the two Combatants on the Arena." What sort of monsters are this? It's like this year's Black Dragon Tournament was loaded with a lot of hidden dragons and crouching tigers"
The Combatants clashed over a few hundred times in a very short time. The battle was fierce and yet beautiful as both displayed their beautiful techniques. Lightening and cold energy clashed. This caused the illusion of Lightning weather.
Kicks and swords clashing and producing detonations loud enough to shutter weaker cultivators' eardrums were there no yunqi barrier around the Arena to soften the I pact of the battle on the spectators. Mai Lin Lin's Yi g energy formed snow that landed on the fourth Prince and accumulated on his hair and shoulders. While a few lightnin burns could be seen on Mai Lin Lin's garments and skin.
Both energies threatened to devour the opponent but somehow seemed to have become one. Half of the Arena was covered in a lightning storm and the Fourth Prince fully executed his Heavenly Tribulation Lightening sword art Min Lin called on the full power of her Yi-powered sword technique and turned her half of the Arena covered in snow.
"These two have cultivated their secret sword arts to perfecperfectnthey acanform their owmains. What frightening battle is this? How can children not older than either year be able to achieve this?" One experienced cultivator observed.
The elders In the sect observers' pavilion were all impressed by the show these kids were putting on They both have total control of blying swords, sword qi and sword intent. Being able to alternate between offence defence simultaneously was a rare occurrence in the Xantian Martial force realm. But these are two abreast display this expertly.
They clashed one more time and separated about thirty metres back as the force of their clash had propelled them apart. Both of them used the opportunity to catch their breath as they stalk each other from their various domains.
The spectators cheered loudly and had once more, What a fight, what control. These IDs are truly worthy of being the two totopmosgeniuses topping the Xantian Martial force realm cultivators indeed.
