Sasaki tried to defend himself by explaining that the patrol member who had beaten him was truly powerful and possessed the Logia Thunder Fruit.
"The capable person of Logia Thunder Fruit is a patrol member of the Whitebeard Pirates?? Sasaki, are you laughing at our lack of IQ?" King questioned with disbelief.
"No, I'm not joking! I swear it's true," Sasaki pleaded. "He was able to release thunder and lightning from his body and he was incredibly strong. I had no chance against him."
However, Queen was still angry and felt that it was shameful to be defeated by a mere patrol member. She grabbed Sasaki by the neck and scolded him for his incompetence.
Queen dismisses the idea that a mere patrol member could be strong and considers it unforgivable to be defeated by one.
King is skeptical of Sasaki's claim and thinks he's lying to cover up his drinking and getting beaten up.
Sasaki defended himself, insisting that he was telling the truth and that he was actually defeated by another powerful opponent who used a palm-discharge move.
However, before he could finish, a pirate rushed in and reported that Holed'em had died. Queen was furious and demanded to know what had happened.
Holed'em was his confidant, and he was not happy to hear about his death, especially since he had hoped that Holed'em's mission would result in some contributions.
Sneider scoffed, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "So let me get this straight, there's not just one, but multiple patrol members of the Whitebeard Pirates group who are as strong as our Tobiroppo? The more you talk, the more ridiculous it sounds."
Who's-Who chimed in with a chuckle, "Yeah, it's almost like they're trying to make us believe in some kind of mythological group of pirates."
Ulti rolled her eyes in annoyance, "This is getting ridiculous. Can't you just own up to your mistake and accept the punishment?"
Black Maria added in a teasing tone, "Or maybe Sasaki's trying to hide something even worse than just a defeat by a patrol member. Did you really have to resort to killing Holed'em?"
Sasaki was outraged by the accusation of lying and sought support from Kaido.
He pleaded with Kaido, "Boss Kaido! I swear I didn't lie!" Kaido, with his arm around Black Maria, gave Sasaki a cold stare and shook his head. Sasaki felt hopeless and slumped to the ground.
Sasaki then laughed in anger and challenged everyone else to find out for themselves if he was lying or not.
Kaido was not impressed with Sasaki's behavior and ordered the other members of the Tobiroppo to investigate the situation in the Whitebeard's territory. Kaido wanted to know what was really going on with the Whitebeard Pirates.
He instructed the others, "You five, listen up! Take your troops and go to the Whitebeard's territory to find out the truth!
