The pirates on the Sasaki boat immediately recognized the two uninvited guests and were taken aback.
"They're the patrol members of the Whitebeard Pirates that we saw earlier!"
"How did they get on board so quickly?"
But the absence of kangaroo man and several other brothers did not go unnoticed.
"Wait a minute, where's our Team leader and the others? Why aren't they here?"
Sasaki opened his eyes and remained calm, sitting with his hands behind his head as pillows. He gazed at Gin and Adolf with a cold expression and asked, "What happened to them?"
"They're dead," replied Adolf.
Holed'em, who was present, immediately grew angry and exclaimed, "That's nonsense! I sent five of my best guys to capture you. Are you trying to say that your two patrols killed five of my men?"
The pirates under Holed'em's command supported his argument and added that the two patrol members of the Whitebeard Pirate Group must not be foolish to speak big words without any evidence. They further stated that Kangaroo man is incredibly strong and would never let anyone take advantage of him.
Gin grew impatient as he listened to the Beasts Pirates' complaints. He looked at them coldly and said, "Who is in charge here? We don't have time to waste on this." He added with a sarcastic tone, "We could use this free time to read some comics instead."
The Beasts Pirates' reaction to Gin's words was intense, with many of them becoming even angrier. They felt that Gin was being disrespectful and not giving them the proper respect they deserved. The pirates under Holed'em were particularly incensed, feeling that Gin was talking down to them and not treating them as equals.
Sasaki himself was furious, as he was one of the highest-ranking members of the Beasts Pirates and felt that Gin was being disrespectful to him personally. As a Tobiroppo, he was used to being treated with deference and respect, and Gin's words had clearly struck a nerve.
Sasaki was already frustrated with the trivial task he was assigned by King, and the situation here was only making things worse. When he looked at Gin's calm and dismissive expression, it irritated him even more. Sasaki felt that Gin was not only being provocative, but also disrespecting him. He couldn't stand it anymore and prepared to stand up.
However, Holed'em intervened and offered to deal with Gin and Adolf for Sasaki.
Holed'em stepped forward and exclaimed, "Why bother, Sasaki-sama? Why waste your time on these insignificant brats? Let me take care of them for you!"
Sasaki agreed to Holed'em's proposal to handle Gin and Adolf. As a Tobiroppo of Beasts Pirates, he did not want to be seen as a joke for killing two patrol members himself. Holed'em, who had a lion head on his belly due to the Artificial Zoan Devil Fruit, took out his Karakuri Sword and walked towards Gin and Adolf with a fierce expression.
Adolf confidently proposed that he take on the fight, adding, "I'm sure I can handle this. After all, I am quite skilled in combat." His tone was full of pride and self-assurance.
Adolf was eager to test his own strength against Beasts Pirates, having previously felt nothing from the attacks of the other pirates. This was a good opportunity for him, and he didn't want to miss it.
Adolf expressed his desire to test his own strength and took the opportunity to confront Holed'em. However, Holed'em was furious upon hearing Adolf's comment and attacked with his machine knife. The lion head on his belly cooperated by spraying flames onto the sword, creating a fiery blade. Holed'em shouted "Hell Flame Cutter" as he swung the blade horizontally towards Adolf and Gin's waist.
Holed'em walked slowly towards Gin and Adolf with his Karakuri Sword, his intention to cut them down clear on his face. Adolf was the first to react, pulling out his Zanpakutō Asauchi and preparing to face the attack. The others around them were shocked. "He's crazy! He's actually trying to block Master Holed'em's Hell Flame Cutter!" one of the onlookers exclaimed.
"He's just a patrol member, he doesn't understand the danger he's in," another said.
"If Holed'em manages to land that cut, those two will be burned and cut in half. The wounds will be cauterized instantly, so they won't even die from excessive bleeding," a third person laughed.
"But being cut in half and surviving is a fate worse than death," someone else added.
Gin also prepared himself for the attack, his eyes focused on the approaching Holed'em. They both knew the stakes were high, and one misstep could mean their lives.
The pirates on the deck were chatting away, but Sasaki remained silent and indifferent. He didn't think it was worth wasting his breath on two insignificant opponents.
Suddenly, there was a loud clang as Zanpakutō Asauchi and the Hell Flame Cutter clashed together.
The pirates who had been laughing and mocking just moments ago were now staring in disbelief, unable to believe what they were seeing.
To their surprise, the Hell Flame Cutter had been blocked! The pirates exclaimed in disbelief, questioning what they had just witnessed. Even Holed'em, who had confidently swung his sword, was shocked to see that a low-level patrol member had managed to block his technique.
Adolf, feeling the force of Holed'em's attack, sneered and activated his Reiatsu. He released his Zanpakutō Spring Dust from its sealed state, which transformed into a giant sickle as tall as Adolf himself. He then channeled his Reiatsu into the sickle, causing it to emit a powerful burst of energy.
The pirates were now in awe, witnessing the strength and power of Adolf's Zanpakutō. The tide had turned, and the pirates were no longer laughing at Adolf and Gin.
