Chapter 24 - Chapter 23 This “Biography of Kisame” may be right for you

After some time had passed, only Vista and Namur remained.

The other captains have acquired their abilities from the comics and are now practicing independently.

Vista had been reading for days and nights, with bloodshot eyes and exhaustion evident from his comment, "This is already the twelfth book..."

Vista was feeling increasingly doubtful about his own abilities as time passed. He had read numerous comics but had yet to gain any abilities, unlike others who had succeeded with ease. Only the eighth division captain, Namur, shared his struggle, which was a small consolation for Vista.

"Am I really that untalented? Is it even beyond redemption with the help of Majima's comics?" Vista questioned himself.

Namur sighed as he put down the comic he had just finished reading. "I've read nineteen and still haven't gotten any abilities. I'm even worse than you," he said to Vista. The two sat on the ground, exchanging glances. Namur, with his shark-like appearance, carefully placed the comic back on the shelf before leaning on the tatami mat and pondering the life of a little shark. Suddenly, an idea struck him, causing him to jump up with excitement.

Namur suggested, "Why don't we ask Majima? These comics are all drawn by him, maybe he can help us figure out a way!" Vista considered the suggestion and quickly agreed.

The two quickly reached the Moby Dick.

Inside the cabin, Majima was checking his energy points and abilities.

Thanks to the division captains' successful comprehension of abilities from the comics, Majima had earned a lot of energy points in the past few days.

He checked his balance of energy points and found that he had 998,260 points, which was very close to reaching 1 million points. With 1 million points, he would be able to draw ten consecutive diamonds, so he was eager to accumulate more points before the deadline. He murmured to himself about the upcoming lottery and closed the system interface.

"Brother Majima?" Vista's voice came from outside the door.

Majima was surprised for a moment as he realized he hadn't received any system prompts about Vista in the past few days. This meant that Vista hadn't gained any abilities from the comics yet.

"Come in. Brother Vista."

After the invitation, Vista and Namur entered the room.

Majima realized that Vista and Namur were the only ones who hadn't acquired abilities from the comics yet, which explained why they were visiting him.

"Are you here seeking manga abilities?" he asked with a smile, gesturing for the two to take a seat and chat.

Vista and Namur weren't in the mood to sit, and Vista blushed when he mentioned their purpose for being there. Despite being the captain of the fifth division, he still hadn't obtained any abilities.

He turned to Majima and asked, "All the other captains have gained abilities except for Namur and me. Does it mean that we have low talents?" Namur added, "I have read all nineteen comics, and Vista has read twelve. But still, neither of us has gained any ability."

After nodding, Majima pondered for a moment.

'The two captains are truly in a tough spot. To put it simply, gaining abilities from reading comics is similar to winning a lucky draw. Even though the odds are theoretically the same, some people just seem to have better luck. But if you do happen to win, it's like hitting the jackpot! However, if you keep losing while everyone around you is winning, it's understandable to feel frustrated and disheartened.'

Majima's gaze landed on the recently finished "Biography of Kisame" and he suddenly realized something. The main character's ability was related to sharks, which made him think of Namur, who is also a shark.

Majima pushed the recently completed "Biography of Kisame" towards Namur and said, "Take a look at this comic, Namur. It might be suitable for you."
