Marco and Jozu were originally hoping to have just the captains read the comics, but they were shocked when Majima suggested that the entire crew should read them.
"This...Majima, are you sure about this?" Marco asked, surprised. "While it was good to share the comics with the captains, the loyalty of the other crew members was not as strong. They all called Whitebeard "Father," but there was a risk that one of them might betray the crew after gaining a powerful ability. This had already happened with Blackbeard Teach."
Majima's decision to let all members of the Whitebeard Pirate Group read his comics surprised Marco and Jozu. Marco couldn't believe it and questioned Majima's selflessness. However, He explained that in the upcoming war with the Marines, everyone in the crew, not just the captains, would need to fight. Improving the strength of all members would increase their chances of winning, so he was serious about the decision.
Majima had a desire to promote his comics, but he felt obligated to say the right things. Marco and Jozu were deeply moved by Majima's selflessness and began to admire him even more. They felt that with a captain like Majima, the Whitebeard Pirates had nothing to worry about for generations to come.
Majima's decision today has really earned Marco's admiration. He spoke to Majima, "Majima, to be honest, your decision today has really impressed me. As the captain of the 1st division of the Whitebeard Pirates, I am now convinced by you and your leadership. Thank you." And with that, Marco bowed deeply.
Jozu, too, was astonished, and he declared, "Brother Majima, if anyone ever tries to persuade you to change your mind, I, Jozu, will be the first to stand up and fight them with all my might!" With that, he also lowered his head deeply, following Marco's example.
Upon hearing that, Marco and Jozu held even greater admiration for Majima as he walked over from behind the drawing table and placed his hands on their shoulders, saying, "What are you doing? Brothers don't need to be like this!"
Majima half-jokingly said, "Since the decision has been made, let's implement it as soon as possible. Father let me be the acting captain and exercise this authority. Captain Marco, follow my orders!"
Marco quickly stood up and said, "Awaiting the captain's order!" as Majima jokingly referred to him as acting captain. Majima then gave his order for Marco to mobilize all the captains to read the comics, and later on, for all members of the team to read once all the captains had gotten their abilities.
"Understood! Marco has received the order!"
Despite putting on a serious facade, Marco was actually eager to carry out the plan. As soon as Majima gave the order, Marco and Joz left with joy.
Soon, all the Division captains of the Whitebeard Pirates gathered at their base camp, including Little Oars Jr. who, despite not being a captain, was treated like one.
Captain Water Buffalo Atmos of the 13th Division scanned the area but didn't spot Marco, and he voiced his curiosity: "Why did Captain Marco summon us so urgently? Is something major going on?"
Blamenco, the captain of the sixth division, wondered, "Why isn't Brother Jozu here? He was the one who informed me."
Captain Izou of the 16th Division nonchalantly remarked, "It's odd that both Jozu and Marco notified us, but they're not present."
Captain Flower Sword Vista of the fifth division reassured the others: "Brothers, let's be patient. Marco and Jozu are both cautious people. They must have had a good reason to call us here."
Suddenly, the air next to Vista distorted, and Marco appeared before the captains.
"Sorry, brothers, for making you wait." Marco apologized as soon as he appeared.
Vista exclaimed, "Oh my god! Where did you come from?"
Vista was also trembling in shock because there was nothing next to him a moment ago, but now a person suddenly appeared.
As Marko was about to speak, there was another flash of light beside Vista, and Jozu suddenly appeared with his burly figure. This sudden appearance of two people in quick succession left Vista's heart pounding, and he exclaimed in fear, "What are you doing? You're going to scare people to death in broad daylight!!"
Vista took a couple of steps back unconsciously, fearing that something might pop out suddenly. The other captains were also horrified.
"One of you has the Bird-Bird Fruit Model Phoenix, and the other has the Twinkle-Twinkle Fruit. There shouldn't be a way to disappear and reappear out of nowhere, right?"
"This seems like a Devil Fruit ability from the Space category."
"Is there someone with a space-based Devil Fruit power around?"
"Boss Marco, what's happening?"
The captains were puzzled, but Marco and Jozu shared a knowing smile, and Jozu took the lead in explaining the situation. "You should explain it, Brother Jozu," Marco said with a grin.
Jozu showed everyone the "Might Guy 'The Leaf's Noble Green Beast' Biography" comic and said, "We just came out of this comic." The other captains looked confused and glanced at the comic book in Jozu's hand, wondering if he was joking.
